Is our defense better or is it a gimmick defense that teams will catch on to? I think that they are disguising things so well that it will be tough for any team to solve....no matter how much film they have on it.

If it's hard to figure out, then its a good defense. Wait until they get more talent on that side of the ball, and the younger players continue to improve.

To be fair I think if they beat the Jets they'll be in the playoff race.

4-5 but games against Jacksonville and Carolina to get to 6-5

6-5 with five games left, that's still life

this game is pivotal, 4-5 in, 3-6 out

Braylon has been as reliable as can be this season.

I'm hoping it carries over like last years 2nd meeting did. Speaking of, I know it's the Browns/Jets thread, but anyone else going to the Jan. 2nd game?

You're just lucky we overlooked your Steelers! :D

I'll probably go to a couple other Steelers games in January.

Yeah!

The Jan 2nd game is close to my Bday. If the Browns are somehow in it, I may try to get tickets.

Mangini won't name McCoy the starter for sunday. Although, he did say his play is making his decision harder.

he's a moron if anyone other than a healthy colt mccoy sees action the rest of the year. wallace can be the backup, delhomme can be lucky to still have a job and be an inactive colt mccoy mentor

I agree 100%. I think it's more of a mind game he's playing with the Jets. He's making them prepare for more than 1 QB. IMO

Rex isn't dumb. He isn't worried about Wallace or Delhomme.

I'm really excited to see what colt can do against the jets d. This is a huge game for colt because if he plays well it will give him a lot of confidence going forward in the future

It won't be much, but I don't think he'll be asked to do much.

I think this is the game he may be asked to do the most so far. The Jets will stack the box to try and take Hillis away. That's almost for curtain. It may be up to Colt to put that gameplan to rest. Pass to set up the run.

Although, in the 4th quarter sunday, NE knew the Browns were going to run the ball. And they couldn't do anything about it.

The Jets can stack the box all they want, you're not going to stop the Juggernaut.

I'm not worried what the Browns offense will do. I don't think they'll score much. I'm worried if the Jets offense can score more.

Steelers stopped him.

I think he had about 40 yards and was a non factor.
