I added the original picture, today's stats, and some commentary to the Browns section on his Wiki page. I couldn't figure out how to change the picture up top though.

I'm definitely getting a Hillis jersey. Wanted one when I went up for the Falcons game, but they were sold out and the stadium didn't have any, go figure. I'm sure when I'm up there for my next game, they'll be in stock.

Well done on the Wiki.

You should start a section on how he has popularized the leap. I think Ive seen him do it about 5 times this year a few in Denver and a few in college.

Peyton Hillis is a FUCKING BEAST.

I love watching this guy bowl over the defense. Amazing to have a guy like this and he fits the mold of the city perfectly.

As for the fumbles, I can live with them because they come with him trying to get extra yardage. Kind of the same way Adrian Peterson had his fumble issues.

He's about as fun to watch as Kevin Mack, and he's faster and a better receiver out of the backfield.

Lots of people trying to compare him to others. I would say Mike Alscot is who he reminds me of.

Alscot? Haha. I'd say he is much faster than Alstott ever was, but I understand the comparison

Here's to hoping it doesn't come out that Hillis is on some type of juice. The guy is an absolute freak. Love, love, love Peyton Hillis.

I really hate that comparison. I think it's just people being lazy and comparing him to the last big, white running back. Alstott wasn't bad, but he was a glorified fullback. Hillis is a featured running back, more along the lines of Kevin Mack, or more recently, Jerome Bettis.

I kinda think Alstott is a great comparison.

Not me. I agree with grodt, Alstott was a glorified FB and I don't think he was as athletic as Hillis, nor did he have the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield like Hillis either.

I hate the Alstott comparison. Just cause they are white and run the ball doesnt mean their game or skill set is remotely close.

Hillis is much faster than Alstott, Hillis catches the ball much better than Alstott.

Alstott is no Hillis, and vice versa.

Alstott was a beast. I was thinking their styles match. I didn't think many people would disagree.

The only thing that is similar between the two is that they are both big and white, and attack the defense with a punishing run style.

However, the similarities stop there.

Hillis is an athletic freak. He's faster, more agile, and is a better receiver than Alstott.

And Alstott was a better blocker.

Which he should have been because he was a fullback.

Agreed. Which further illustrates my point that the two arent the same at all except for their build and skin color.
