Utah is coming off a big loss at home to TCU while Notre Dame almost certainly needs to win this game if they hope to become bowl eligible.

2:30 PM kickoff on NBC

ND has a better chance of beating USC on the road IMO. Utah big (much to my chagrin).

Is Riddick back? Calabrese?

I'm interested to see what Kelly installs for Rees mostly. See what happens against Utah, gel against Army, and beat those fuckers in Los Angeles. My optimal finish.

Calabrese SHOULD be back but Riddick is likely out one more week. We should know fir sure on Tuesday.

I thought Riddick might be done for the year. Calabrese might be able to go from what I read.

And yes, at this point.....that's my optimal finish as well.

I'm at a moral dilemma as it's rumored the spread will open at Utah -4... :(

I actually think ND has a chance in this game. I believe they are getting Utah at the perfect time. Their balloon is deflated after their "game of the year" this past weekend. They could be ripe for the pickings IMO.

That was the thought process before the season started, that Utah's emotions would be so off and Notre Dame would use its bye week to conjure up a masterful game plan to knock off the Utes. Well, that was before Notre Dame sent nearly all of its skill players to the infirmary.

I like NDs chances....Utah just got destroyed and could be "down" for this one. I am taking ND by a fg.

If Notre Dame was healthy I would pick them here. Utah is nothing special. Irish are just too banged up to pull this one out.

Nobody is ever "down" coming into South Bend to face the Irish for the first time.

I just hope that the young guys can get something clicking and keep this one close.

But truth be told...I'm glad I have a 4 day weekend coming up. I have a feeling my liver is going to need the extra recoup time after this game.

Being that I turned 21 ninety minutes ago, I can legally say I will be doing the same thing. :D

Despite ND's 10-year decline to CFB obscurity, the ND mystique still exists. Utah will be pumped.

Utah 35
ND 21

I'll be at ND for this one, hoping for a competitive game and an Irish victory!

I know I'm in the minority here, but I can see Utah coming in to South Bend not only demoralized by the ass kicking they took last Saturday, but also with a newfound shaken confidence due to being exposed on a national stage. They're ripe for the picking, and I think the Irish will rally around BK and pull the upset....ND 24 Utah 21

I agree. I think ND pulls off the upset. They're not as bad as their record suggests.

Are you nuts? They haven't won a big game since Millard Filmore was President, their coach has never done anything worth mentioning, and all of their players are overrated by recruiting websites.

Utes 402 to zip. But, Michael Jordan will be held to less than two hundred points.
