I'm involved in an argument that involves a bottle of Jameson, we've agreed that comments here are legitimate.

The question is simple: The Simpsons, or Futurama. Which is the best show?

Also, is this which show is currently best, or is this some sort of lifetime achievement award?

As a participant of the contest, I can only say it is up to you. I can't in good faith try to lead a choice, one way or the other.

I'll pick the Simpsons over any other cartoon show these days. Futurama is ok, but I like Family Guy better than that. Heck, I'll take The Cleveland Show over Futurama.

the simpsons, but i'll attest to what others have said, this is a competition for a silver medal at best. family guy trumps all, and while i never regularly watch the show, south park is probably second.

I vote for the simpsons and I also have to vote against family guy. The only character on that show that doesn't suck is the dog. (IMHO)

Never have seen either show.... but I would like to be involved with the disappearance of the Jameson :)

Futurama is pretty funny, but back when Simpsons was actually good it was better than anything Futurama ever put out.

Simpsons for lifetime achievement. I liked Futurama, but it never resonated with me the way the classic years of the Simpsons did.

I've only watched 1 or 2 (if even 2) episodes of The Simpsons. I've never watched Futurama...

So I vote for the Simpsons.
