I say why the hell not as well. The Browns have nothing to lose. If he doesn't try, just waive him again, or maybe try to trade him lol.

LoL... the Bengals should try to just have every problem child receiver just to spare the rest of the league.

As Bill Simmons points out, I kinda hope he ends up back in New England just so we can see the headline "Patriots trade Randy Moss to Vikings for third-round pick and Randy Moss"

As much as the Browns need a legit number 1 WR, I don't think Moss is a Mangini type of guy. Although, I believe Mangini was on the coaching staff at NE when Moss first got there. So you never know.

He wasn't. Mangini was in his 2nd year with the Jets when Moss became a patriot.

I think the Browns are too young to bring in a guy like Moss. What do they gain by adding him to the team?? They aren't going to make the playoffs w/ him or w/o him. Let the young guys play and develop without the cancer in the locker room. Mangini has already shown he isn't going to deal with players that cause problems.

Although Chilly said he is waiving Moss, he still has not yet been waived and the player has still not been told directly from coach yet

Childress better hope he didn't actually waive Moss and Moss is still on the team, because if he did: both the GM and Childress need fired right now. You don't trade away a 3rd round pick and then waive the guy 3 weeks later. Absolutely horrid decision making.
The Vikings are finished. Too many distractions, too many bad coaching decisions, and too many Brett Favre interceptions. The inmates are running the asylum as they say

This is just another dumba** move by the Vikings.....
What are they thinking, other than Peterson and a very injury prone Harvin, Moss is their best option to score and stretch the field, which makes Harving and Peterson that much better. This makes no sense at all and now their passing game is like the Browns and their leading receicer will be Shiancoe.
Why trade for him if you are just going to wave him, I'm still beside myself on this. Glad I am not a true Viking's fan thru and thru.

I wouldn't mind bringing Moss to Cleveland, he is in the last year of his contract and could be a good coach to our young receivers. He is the best big play WR in the league, and that is what we lack. I say if we bring him in we would end up 7-9 or 8-8.
It won't happen, but I think it should. Moss will end up in Chicago, Buffalo, or NY Jets....they love bringing in vets that are good, and Rex could probably get him to go all out for him.

Hey, maybe we get Moss and teamed up with Ben Watson <insert overused unfunny ben watson GOAT joke here>.

Moss the best down field WR? No way, not this year. He hasn't gotten 100 yards in a game this year; his longest TD is like 36 yards I think. He's still a threat, but no longer "the best"

Its been like 16 games since he topped 100. Thats a season. Thats enough of a sample size for me to consider him old and no longer what he was or thinks he is.
