Lets say the yankees beat the rangers in the ACLS and were in the world series against the San Fran Giants....Do you think they're would fair better then the Texas Rangers have. I think they match up better and have better hitting. Can you imagine if the yankees signed Chris Lee this summer..They are going to be loaded to the helm...Do we see the Giants and Yankees next year for a real san francisco treat(lol).....You're thoughts?

The Rangers just beat them in a best of 7 game series, that's a pretty nice sample size. We're not talking about one game, winner take all. They dominated the Yankees by and large too. The Rangers were obviously the better team.
Also, there is no guarantee Cliff Lee signs with the Yankees. His wife was pretty upset about fans spitting on her section. I know Lee downplayed it, but I think that might be a factor, especially since Cliff Lee is from Arkansas. He doesn't seem like the type who "needs" to play in NY. I think as long as there are competitive offers, he would give them as much of a chance as NY

Cliff Lee was publicly upset that he didnt go to NY this summer. His wife and CC wife are very close friends. Id be utterly shocked if Lee didnt go to NY this offseason.

none of that even matters. The Rangers beat the Yanks, and the Giants turned around and laid the smack down on the Rangers. Giants are World Champs, and deservedly so.

I think the Giants win whether its the Rangers or yankees. If the Yankees bats were shut down by the Rangers staff, they would have definitely been shut down by the Gianst staff.
