Michigans Pass defense just got even worse. I think their DLine isn't half bad and Illinois is a running team. Illini will win in a big way I think.

I was going to say, their Pass O is almost as bad as our Pass D. I think ESPN has them ranked as 111th in the country in Passing Offense.

Ohio State is going to hang over 50 on Michigan at this point.

I can realistically see Michigan losing out.

I can see Tressel getting a lead and then just trying to run it down their throats to chew up clock. Kinda like last year and 2007.

Agreed. I think UofM beats Purdue to become bowl-eligible, finishes 6-6.

It may seem that way by default, but in reality, the pass defense did not get worse. Floyd is not good in pass coverage right now. Maybe in the future, but not now. And with the 12 yard cushion GRob focres the corners to play, it doesn't really matter much.

Case in point... (when I saw this play live, I about put my fist through the TV)

Another Michigan thread with useless babble about Notre Dame and OSU, shocking. ND sucked before their injuries, Michigan's D sucked before their injuries, OSU was going to put up points against Michigan regardless.


I think Michigan needs 2 more regular season wins for RR to keep his job. 6-6 will probably result in a bowl loss to a solid mid major. This D sucks but it's hard to believe they can't force a couple turnovers. I think Penn State fumbled 3 times and every time it went right back to the player or out of bounds. Same thing with Iowa and MSU. One of these weeks they are due.
