Most people know little about Sheridan up north here. Do not look at their schedule Salem. It means nothing. They are tough! I'm picking them to win R11 too.

well if your line is anything like the line when we played them in 03 playoffs to quote our coach they are a snow plow that moves over for nobody! hope it is a injury free game both teams are deserving of a win i think im going to go with the generals in this one just based on the fact that its at home and i know their coaching style a little more than salem. that doesnt mean salem can not pull it out always rooting for a nbc future school even though ur taken our place ....

Stay away from there Caturdayz.....lol
The Sheridan folks sound very hospitable and thanks for the invite...just might take you up on that hog offer. Sounds like anything hot tomorrow will be good.

After watching TriValley tonight it defintely gives me more confidence to say there is going to be as a-- whipping in the cornfields tomorrow. This will not even be close.

Considering anything after midnight is sketchy from the last time I was there, probably good advice.GoPens;546522 wrote:Stay away from there Caturdayz.....lol
Their schedule is still weak. Tri-Valley was pretty much the only good team they played that was actually their size.roundtown;546524 wrote:well tonight Trivalley just beat the number 3 ranked team in DII in the state. so much for weak schedule.

Sheridan rolled Tri-Valley 42-14 despite throwing 3 ints, two in the redzone. TV actuallay led that game 7-0 off of a pick six and scored their other TD after a delay penalty gave them a short field after a backed up kickoff, they also scored that TD on 4th down from the 18. Sheridan rolled up 490 yards of O on them that night and held them to under 200. Last night against New Albany, a team who beat Desales this year, went 10-0 and was ranked third in D2, they dominated. Can't remember the exact numbers but TV doubled them up in yardage last night. I would venture to say the competition might not have been as bad as you think. Still hoping for a generals win, still expect it to be tough. Can't wait til tonight.

Anyone know if Sheridan has a local radio station that will be airing the game tonight?

Sheridan is the dark horse to win this region if they get by Salem. They will match up well with Marlington, and Steubenville has been a question mark this year. The have had key injuries and lost to two of the marquis programs in Ohio. But as everybody knows, Big Red is, well.... Big Red. They will be tough to beat no matter what. Sheridan was my pick to be the upset winner in Region 11 since about week 7 until tonight's match-up. But, if Sheridan wins, gotta pull for them the rest of the way.

Dover is next. Salem you have some good athleates but not as many as us.
But a good team over all. I liked #55 alot hes a beast like you said, and your QB is well... hes good but not GREAT like touted. Still need more then 2 to win it all. Good luck next year, your coach has your program on the right track. Just keep those kids away from Mooney and Stueby. Tell em the moneys not worth it.

Congratz Generals and good luck the rest of the way. You have a great team (and by that, I do mean TEAM). You now have the inside track to a Region 11 title. Hope to see you play again up here in Northeast Ohio in week 15.

Dover -Sheridan should be a good game. But I'd like the Generals in this one too.

Good not great game Generals...many things to improve upon for next week. Gotta hold onto the ball better (don't even let the refs think about calling plays fumbles, a few close ones tonight) couple td's called back on penalties (were they holding or not? not up to me). Defense looked good tonight only allowed a couple of real plays (gotta make the pick in the endzone when you should and Salem only scores 7, Salem's QB compares to JG's and I think TV's is/will be better. As stated earlier that #55 was a hulk, great game by him tonight, as for #65 learn some sportsmanship, but I did love that another Salem kid took care of it before anyone, showed a lot of class by that young man, sorry I was too busy booing to catch his number!) All in all win and advance, lets go get Dover next weekend!
