I think DSJ will win. I also think they should spot Norwalk a TD on the opening kick-off

No kidding, if St Paul returns the opening kickoff they are doomed.

Good luck Flyers! Time to take round 3! All the pressure will be on the defending champs, make the most of it. Play loose, have fun and leave it all out on the field next Saturday.

Well someone's going to have to be the first one to pick the upset and considering I picked it at the begining of the playoffs, St. Paul 21 St. Johns 14

DSJ was the favorite at the beginning of the season to win the division and are still the favorite to win the division. That being said, St. Paul definitely has the weapons to win this game.

I'd like to see the Flyers win this one. If the offensive line continues to protect the qb they have a shot. I expect DSJ to throw some blitz at #8. And defense make a couple big stops.

DSJ by 10. SP has had trouble when they've played DSJ in the past, and this year Delphos returns a bunch of players from last years championship team. This Delphos team went undefeated in a much better conference than SP in the horrible FC.

Is this the first time two teams have played 3 times in a state title game?

Hope to see DSJ bring another title back to the MAC. Especially after they bounced my Flyers.

Cats gone wild. Ony the 4 bottom teams are extremely bad in the FC. Year in and year out NSP, AC, WR and MVILLE are all very strong. I think the 4th place team in the FC could of beat Berlin Cneter Western Reserve, Mogadore and GCC. Only Wynford was better than AC, WR and MVILLE.
There are much worse conferences than the FC, the NOL this year was horrible. What makes the FC look so bad is the bottom 4 teams. The top 4 our always playoff quality.

In my view you are doing Eric a favor if you blitz him.

How is Delphos at covering the pass? What is their team speed like? Because if they can shut down St. Pauls passing game they should have no problem beating them. Wynford is the only team to challenge them, if they could have shut down the pass they would have beaten St Pauls.

The FC is worse then the NOL!! Mapleton, South Central, Plymouth and New London Stink. Western has never made the playoffs, Monroeville is not even close to getting back to the playoffs. Ashland Crestview is not bad, BUT..... they too had their butts handed to them vs St Pauls. I like Delphis in this game because of their history 35-12, it sounds to me that the Marion Local / Delphos game would have been a great State title game.94hoops wrote: Cats gone wild. We were talking about the "opponets" on the way back from the game. I would rank them in this order:94hoops wrote: Cats gone wild. Ony the 4 bottom teams are extremely bad in the FC. The JAYS bring a very balanced defense to every game . The offensive side of the ball is primarilly the run , but you can not key on just one running back . The passing game can be effective when is needed .
JAYS : 28
Norwalk : 13
GO MAC - Bring back 2 more Championships

Nobody really knows how he will react under pressure, he does throw int's but he does have a beautiful deep ball.Sportscaster17 wrote: In my view you are doing Eric a favor if you blitz him.

Keep on bragging up Delphos, and do not give St. Paul a chance. Noboby prepares a game plan better and puts the time in preparing than John Livengood and his staff. I have coached against Livengood and I know first hand his teams are fundamentally sound, disciplined and ready for each and every game. This St. Paul team is very athletic and fast on the perimeter. Delphos very well may win this game, but it will be a battle and may come down to special teams or who has the ball at the end. GOOD LUCK FLYERS!

Well don't know how #8 will handle pressure, but the point is that if DSJ can take away St Paul's pass somehow, it will be tough for them to win. Hopefully we'll see a lot of play action, rollouts, that kind of thing. One more thing, St Paul receivers catch a lot of balls at a stop, go down and curl and the pass comes to them with a defender behind them. I can gurantee you DSJ won't let this happen. Receivers will have to catch balls on the move.
