Davidson is hitting on all cylinders now. I watched a very determined Davidson team last night. Their "ball control" offense will totally frustrate Glenville. I just don't think Glenville will have the disipline needed to handle it. And now for the real nightmare....

how in the hell did Paladin find this site. Many on here on in for a real treat now especially if he's not on his meds. lol

It kills me when people talk about the more disciplined team wins. What are you actually trying to say? Ignatius very disciplined Glenville's defense made them look silly. Massillon is very disciplined look at that outcome. Please talk about what either team has on their teams offensively, defensively, and special teams. This whole I don't think this team has more discipline is the same disrespectful comment that I saw that stated that Hilliard Davidson doesn't have enough athletes.

It's more of a disciplined system than just this specific team being disciplined. The offense they run minimizes the chances for mistakes in general, if you go to the game or see any of Davidson you'll understand what everyone here is talking about.

1disciple...if it sounds disrespectful to you then to bad. Wine all you want. I just don't see Davidson getting outcoached in this game. Why? Because they are to disciplined. lol

Glenville beat St. Ignatius, coached by Chuck Kyle. If Iggy doesnt play disiplined football NO one does. Davidson could win, but not by playing more disciplined football.

Glenville also lost to Ignatius, did they not? Why did Ignatius win the first meeting?

Because they scored more points. I think that should be pretty obvious. :D

KIcking Game -- Here Davidson is superior as Glenville really sucks at kickoffs, punts & X-pt. kicks. But Glenville has a superior kick return game.
Played a better schedule in the Senate League?

You can't return 'em when they are kicked into the end zone.:D

O - Glenville has too much speed & too many athletes. Big play capabilities, both run & pass. Davidson will grind out some yards, just not enough. Ball control won't decide it.

Glenville wins by two scores over Davidson.
BLAH...BLAH...BLAH...BLAH... We've heard it all before, some ol @#%&. I will take the fine tuned machine against all your talent and speed and athelets and see you in Canton, Tired of hearin about how we can't hang with these "high flying offences" don't you get it? were not impressed. We show up, play are game, and when the clock says 0:00 we'll see where we stand. GO CATS!!!! BEAT GLENVILLE!!!!
Wildcat...don't go getting your underwear tied up in knots. Believe me it isn't a good comfortable feeling.

I understand completely what you are saying and I understand what the other guys are saying. Some of the people are excited for Glenville, as they should be. But I'm with you on this one.

I think the ball control offense and good sound defense will prevail. That is taking nothing away from Glenville, but they are a "big play" offense. They didn't really sustain any drives against Iggy or Massillon. Iggy's QB threw 5 picks and Glenville took advantage of it. I thought Massillon's 3-4 defense wasn't effective against Glenville and actually gave Glenville an advantage. Not a lot of pressure on Glenville's QB and their linemen got out to the Linebackers in a hurry which left much of the tackling to be done by DB's and that is never good.

There is no doubt that Glenville has size, speed, and athletes...but so does Davidson. Maybe not as many, but they too have athletes, or they wouldn't be in the State Final Game. Glenville was the better team against Massillon Saturday night, but if they played 10 times...Glenville wouldn't win all 10 games and all Davidson has to do is win once...no more...no less.

Davidson will have 6 Offensive posessions and score on 5---if Glenville can't match that its going to be a long night for the Tarblooders----Davidsons plan has come together--------football in Central Ohio is alive and well----------------

Glenville will thrash Hilliard. It won't even be close. The Ville will ride.

I dont think anyone will be getting thrashed on Sat.In fact i would bet alot of hotel rooms were cancelled in Canton late Sat night /early Sun morning, because Elder thought the same thing.

Why did my previous post get deleted on this thread? I simply said IF HD wins bc they are more disciplined, how do you think Glenville beat Iggy? NO team is more disciplined than a Chuck Kyle team!! Overall team spead and discipline give Glenville a close win. I love because they are an inner city team it is assumed they have no discipline.

Either way, I'm just glad that it's a public school riding out.

Uhh Hilliard Davidson is a public school also. So that makes 2 public schools fighting for the same Championship, that probably doesnt happen very often.Although I do think Mentor was a public school when we played them.

Did I read where Davidson had a 19 play, 11:00 drive in last night's game against Elder? if they can string 2 or 3 drives like that together and keeps Glenville's offense off the field they stand a real good chance
This summarizes my thoughts on this one to a "T"!!!!!! And judging by the conscientious that HD is everything the 2006 team was I say " it's never over till it's over"!!! I wrote HD off toward the end of that game as "not being able to score quickly if needed" and man was I wrong!!!!!! But I can guarantee you that Glenville can score quickly!!!!!!! Should be a great game of contrasts!!!!!!!!!!!! RUN THE BALL!!!!! RUN THE CLOCK!!!!!!!! WIN THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -------AGAINST------ SCORE FROM ANYWHERE AT ANYTIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
