Troy Murphy agrees to a buyout and Miami and Boston are his leading suitors.

Miami can assemble all the shooters they want, but they still dont have any post defense. Late in games, with all these so-called shooters, why is LBJ still chucking up threes?

Terms of Perkins' contract with the Thunder weren't disclosed. The Celtics had reportedly offered him a four-year, $22 million contract. Perkins was reportedly seeking a deal worth $30 million over that same span.
WAY overpaid of they gave him the $30 mil

Getting Troy Murphy was as much about keeping him from the Heat as it was adding depth for the Celtics frontline.

Ok I have to ask... Why the hell did LeBron get two chances at the last second shot? Everyone knows Wade is the better shooter and certainly the better clutch shooter. If I were Wade, I'd be pissed because I guarantee he would've made it.

lol really? Look at the "clutch" stats. Wade shoots something like 20%. LeBron is somewhere in the mid 30s. Wade is shooting 31% on 3s this year. LeBron isn't great at 33.8%, but for you to GUARANTEE Wade makes it brings the lulz. Wade was 5-15 on Sunday. I could see getting Miller or House or even Chalmers a look, but Wade is not a great shooter.

Really like this pick up & if Doc & Danny can persuade Corey Brewer to sign as well then I'd be willing to give Danny Ainge a pass on the two trades... for now

By everyone, you must mean everyone who disregards all of the evidence to the contrary or does not watch the NBA. Lebron has continuously been at the top of the league, well above D-Wade, in clutch statistics according to 82games.com. In addition, while they have similar FG and FT percentages throughout their career, Lebron has had a better 3 point percentage every year except his rookie season. Not to mention that Lebron shoots significantly more threes.

Sorry, I guess I should've specified. I meant to differentiate between the 82games "clutch statistics" which factor in I believe the last minute or so of the game, and game winners. Wade has made more game winning/tying shots in his career. So my reference point was not the last minute of the game but more specifically the last shot (or in this case 2) of the game.

So you are standing by your guarantee of Wade making the shot?

Clutch stats, Hollinger rankings,Stein stats...bunch of computer geeks who have never played a meaningful game of basketball in their life trying to tell us who according to a "computer" is the most "clutch" and "best" or most "efficient" player in the game. My own eyes of watching NBA basketball tells me who is clutch and who is good.

Explains quite a lot. The real question is who the fuck are you and why should anyone value what you say? You haven't played a meaningful game of basketball either.

lol posting 4 game winners, all several years old, 2 of which are 5ft shots and one a fluke play.

I'd never guarantee anything, but LBJ attempted a contested three while DWade was wide open on the side.

Just my 2 cents.
