Worst part about that little sequence was the Spurs TV guys. Basically saying only Kobe deserved the T. Uh, hey guys, when you shove someone in the chest, you get a T.

These Spurs announcers are pretty bad homers (as is customary), but they are calling Odom Mr. Kardashian which I find to be quite humorous.

Oh and for the other "big game" tonight, the Heat are pretty much dismantling the Knicks.

Yeah, a shove to the chest and plus both players waved a finger in the other's face, although I think Hill's might have been with a mocking intention. Both deserved a T there. This has been a pretty rough game, Artest had a few hard fouls earlier and both teams are going after it pretty hard.
The announcers have mentioned a couple times tonight that there were some fights at Laker practice following Christmas Day and one of them said Kobe was the instigator in those. Any truth to that? I could see Kobe doing that just to sort of light a fire under the team but I'm surprised I hadn't seen anything about it on ESPN.

You obviously missed Richard Jefferson throwing him to the ground

Throwing? He did bump him but it wasn't anything that warranted Fisher grabbing the ball and chasing Jefferson down at half court.

Knicks managed to make it a game in the 4th quarter but the Heat held on. DWade went for 40.

He got nudged by Jefferson and went flying into the camera men along the baseline. Jefferson gathered a rebound, layed it in and turn and ran down the court. Fisher gets up and grabs the ball after it fell through the net and chases Jefferson to midcourt, yelling at him the whole way. Jefferson turned around and Fisher tried getting in his face before the two were separated. CWebb said basically the same thing I did, it didn't warrant that kind of reaction. If you don't want any part of physical contact, don't take your small behind in the paint.Hb31187;616450 wrote:Fisher has alwasy been a bitch. Whatd he do now?

Eh looked like they were competing pretty hard tonight, especially early. They were all playing pretty chippy. They did coast (give up) in the 4th quarter though.

On Sportscenter they said that Artest got a black eye(I believe from Kobe) and practice was very intense.karen lotz;616356 wrote: The announcers have mentioned a couple times tonight that there were some fights at Laker practice following Christmas Day and one of them said Kobe was the instigator in those. Phil Jackson further proving that he doesnt like to coach during the Holidays(rather than just Christmas Day).

I'm looking for it. It was on the 6PM sportscenter. Shelley Smith was reporting it. The black eye was not on purpose.

Apparently it wasnt Kobe. They didnt specify. Didnt sound like going into the game that they were up for it.
