Or um im tryna think of another just explosive big man. Stromile Swift used to get UP
Martin is a good one. I think Blake is better than him though explosively. Its tough cause the NBA never saw the K-Mart of old. Swift is a high flyer, but it seems kind of different. Even a guy like LeBron who is explosive just doesnt seem to have the extra level that Griffin goes to.
It helps that Blake has an offensive game to go with it as well.

A young Shawn Kemp? That's going back pretty far though.

Good call on Kemp. Griffin is more polished all around but Kemp was ridiculous at/around the rim.

Yeah lebron needs to shut up. You played 44 and it still want good enough. Not his fault, just saying. The quicker you get going the quicker you can give more mind to the bench.

Great call. I agree. I cant think of anyone else. I might be overlooking some guys that didnt ever make a name for themselves, but Kemp is a GREAT call. Just pure explosiveness.

Kevin Love with the first 30point 30board game since Moses Malone in 82 too bad he's buried in Minnesota.

9 games into the season and I think Boston has won the Atlantic division.
The west just looks dominant again. 8 teams with a winning percentage above .600, and in the east there's only 3 teams.

The Kemp comparison is the only one that does him justice. He is so quick off his feet it's almost not human. I mean in a league of great athletes, for someone to stand out athletically the way he does is insane.

Lebron's comments really do make you wonder. Does Lebron and company really respect Spoelstra and WANT to play for him? Or are they just trying accelerate the process of getting him canned so Riley can take over?

Nice win for Boston tonight in Memphis 116-110 in OT, they are really improved this year. Rudy Gay seems much better and it looks like Conley has found his game now in Memphis... Not much significance in this game but it puts Boston at 8-2 and it ends Delonte West's 10 game suspension so hopefully he'll provide more firepower off the Bench .... Shaq had a great game tonight with 18 points 6Rbs

Phoenix shot 22-40 from the land of plenty to set a franchise record and fall one short of the NBA record of 3s made in one game tonight. Jason Richardson led the way with 35 points on 7/10 3pt FGs and the Suns handed the champs their first lost at the Staples Center tonight, 121-116.

Anyone else hear Cuban's comments about the Heat and Dan Gilbert? It was pretty funny. I'm glad these owners aren't pussies.

Mark Cuban is awesome.
He would come back to Indiana University every year the Mavs played the Pacers and would put the entire bar bill on his tab. He would come back during the summer as well, but the tab was about 1/10th those days lol.

Hes a blast. I mean, so many people are at the bar every night at IU that it isnt like you can personally sit with him. But he will get hammered and talk shit with people who happen to be around him. He was in town when IU beat Illinois a few years ago in OT (Eric Gordon hit the tying 3, in Champaign). Ive never seen a bar so loud, and Cuban got on the bar and said
"Dang nabbit! I wish Eric Gordon was still on my team" in his best Bruce Weber voice, then let out "FUCK THE ILLINI!"
It was nuts.

Lakers come back after losing 2 straight and beat the Bucks in Milwaukee by 11 tonight.
Kobe with 31, Pau with 18 and 10, LO with 13, D Fish with 10, and the Canon with 21 off the bench.
Jennings had 31 for the Bucks. Bogut "only" had 12 but had 18 rebounds. Drew Gooden had 22 and 13. Yeah, I said Drew Gooden. lol

Cavs got a win tonight, putting up 100+ against the Sixers, in what seems like their 10th game against the Sixers already lol
That's a big win for this team to ge them back to 5-5 considering 3 of their next 5 games are against New Orleans, SA, and Orlando all on the road.
Not a good game for JJ Hickson, going for only 8 points, 2 boards, and 0 assists. Boobie had 18 off the bench.
Evan Turner had 16 points in the starting lineup, but only shot 4-13 from the field.

I keep seeing this posted. Who said Turner should go #1 over Wall?
