It's safe to say it's panic mode in Miami now.

But if regular season games don't mean anything, how can you come to any noteworthy conclusions?

He got truck sticked by sessions. But it didn't look that bad. I thought he was just acting at first. Then they had him on the stretcher. Maybe a concussion would be my guess. He rolled over on his own and looked over at the ref so he was able to move his neck.

Yeah, hes fine. They are going to take him to the hospital as a precaution, he should be ok though

NBA games after the All star game and the trade deadline passes, things begin to get serious, especially when your playing teams you may face in the Playoffs.robj55;701405 wrote:But if regular season games don't mean anything, how can you come to any noteworthy conclusions?
Regular season games in Oct,Nov,Dec,Jan and most of Feb do not mean much. But I thought everyone who really followed the NBA already knew that.

You do realize the Spurs won in LA last year by 19 in April right? It didn't stop the Lakers from winning the title last season, so I don't think winning this game necessarily means they are now the favorites.Skyhook79;701500 wrote:NBA games after the All star game and the trade deadline passes, things begin to get serious, especially when your playing teams you may face in the Playoffs.

Game 4 of the season series is on April 12 in LA(Spurs lead it 2-1).

Life is rough as the #3 team in your conference. If these guys are crying, I wonder how the Clippers, Cavs, etc. feel.

There is no question that the Boston Celtics have faced their fair share of injuries this season, but their biggest focus now will be on C Shaquille O'Neal. Last month O'Neal was dealing with an ailing right Achilles tendon, and now he is apparently dealing with soreness in his right foot.
The news surrounding O'Neal's Achilles is fairly positive, but the uncertainty surrounding his foot is still a big question mark with just over twenty games left in the regular season.
When asked about when or if the Celtics can expect to have O'Neal back in the lineup, Boston head coach Doc Rivers expressed this uncertainty.
"Eddie (Lacerte - the Boston team trainer) just said don't expect him anytime soon," Rivers said.
This is bad news for the Celtics who are already short-handed in the front court after trading their starting C Kendrick Perkins two weeks ago. Much of their decision to trade Perkins was dependent on O'Neal's health heading into the rest of the regular season and the playoffs, but with the latest news regarding the health of the Boston big man it appears the trade may turn out to be costly for the Celtics.

Yeah that's what the Celtics writers on twitter have been saying & we've been hit with the injury bug all season with Big Baby going down recently I honestly think that leaves only Paul Pierce & Ray Allen that haven't missed a game all year for Boston. CNSE in Boston is saying April 1st could possibly be the return of Shaq. He looked fine at All-Star weekend so I can only hope he's just milking this out to rest up for the playoffs lol -- But Krstic is playing very well with Boston and we're 5-0 with this new lineup and Krstic had 17 and Jeff Green had 13 tonight for the C's vs Milwaukee.

It's unbelievable how much coverage the 6th-8th best team in the NBA is getting on ESPN, what a joke.

Portland might be a serious title contender. If Roy is 100%, and everyone else for that matter, for the playoffs they can play with anyone.

Portland is no joke. Bringing Wallace, Roy, and Fernandez off the bench is almost unfair.
