Agreed.

Melos overrated? Hmm are you one of those people on here that thought he was like not even in the top 10-15 players in the NBA overrated, or you sayin hes maybe just not AS good as people make him sound?Mulva;726047 wrote:Melo is overrated. Either that, or the Nuggets severely underachieved while he was there. I personally believe it's the former, and always have.
The Nuggets have been jack shit every year outside of 2008-2009. Besides that single run to the conference finals, the Nuggets went 6-24 in the playoffs between 2004 and 2010, losing in the first round all 6 times. With guys like Billups, Andre Miller, Nene, Camby, K-Mart, JR Smith, and Iverson on the roster at various times (at least 3 of those guys on the team at all times)? Pathetic.
I don't see the Knicks ever competing for a title unless they get Chris Paul and at least a few other key pieces. Melo and Amare aren't even going to be close to enough.

He isn't a superstar though, and I was one of the people who said I would take D-Will over him.
Fly4Fun;726130 wrote:Reason I ask is it seems more like the opposite. You're vehemently defending the Knicks/Melo while ignoring what Denver has done for the most part. If I were a Denver fan I'd be happy with what's currently happening... Knicks struggling while the Nuggets are making the best of it... that's what you want out of a trade.
