Steve Blake of all people gives L.A. a 112-110 lead with 18.8 seconds left; Houston ball

I think the Lakers really corrected their shitty bench/lack of depth from last year....Blake, Barnes, Brown will make a great second squad.

No nevermind they ran the play where the smallest player in the building gets the ball two feet under the basket double-teamed.

no their bench is still shit..Blake is an average player at best and Brown will never amount to anything besides a bench player

Do you ever support anything with logic or just spew shit aimlessly? Their 'shit' bench pretty much won the game for them. With the starters on the bench, Blake and Brown made a lot of great plays to pull the Lakers back into the lead. Tell you what: If their bench is shit then you provide me a team who has a good bench.

Actually don't respond, I'm going to bed and don't care what your dumbass response is going to be anyways. I don't know what game you're watching, but basically while Kobe/Gasol sat on the bench, those three were making hustle plays on both ends and making shots to bring the team back. What more can you ask of your bench?

Blake is a very solid player, and exactly the type of player that you want coming off your bench. And you say Brown will never amount to anymore than a bench player, yet that's what he is, and he's good at it.

Houston proved that they are a good team. I said a few months ago that I thought if Yao is healthy they can compete in the West, and I still believe that.

looks like ron hasn't changed much since last year still jacking up shots and missing open layups

kobe looked really slow on defense. hopefully his knee heals soon.

Apparently he told someone it was at 90-95%. There's no way in hell he's that far along. I'm thinking like 65-75% at best.

Is Steve Blake being average at best really a knock on him? He comes off the fucking bench. There are not many guys in this league that come off the bench that have a ton of talent (save for some rookies). Lamar Odom, Manu Ginobili, and Jamal Crawford are the only three that come to mind. And Shannon Brown will never amount to anything besides a bench player? Well, that probably is not a bad thing since he is coming off the bench. I think Shannon Brown himself would tell you that if he needed to handle LA's PG duties by himself they would be in a boatload of trouble.
