How was Jordan "crushed" in this commercial? I don't see where people are jumping to that conclusion.
As for the commercial itself... not bad; but it still doesn't change my opinion / perception of #6. Sellout.

I thought it was ironic there was clip of him driving through a basketball arena smashing it up with a bulldozer. I mean that's what he basically did to the Cavs, since he kept them in the dark for a month of valuable free agent time then ditched town after most of the big names had already signed. I'm not saying the Lebron-less Cavs stood much of a chance of bringing someone like Rudy Gay, Stoudamire, Joe Johnson or Boozer to town, but for as long as kept the center of attention on himself, he basically left them with no feasible back-up plan. All that's left is a bunch of role players brought in to support him.

The commercial is absolutely genius, but I think it would be better served for LeBron and Nike to move on from this.
There is a reason LeBron is the 6th most hated athlete now, and it's not because he's a perennial champion.
He keeps bring up the decision more than anyone I see.
As for Cleveland fans getting over it, nope and don't really give a fuck what any of you think. It's not the fact tat he left, it's how he left. Knowing Cleveland's history and to title it "The decision"... Yeah, that was a slap in the face.
As for ESPN going to Cleveland Karen, WTF did you expect ESPN to report? Trust me, I'm in Cleveland 5 days a week and the city is not nearly as pathetic as ESPN portrayed it to be.

Just saw this commercial, and thought it was stupid.

I agree with all your points...Everyone thinks Cleveland is a Shi*town, but it really is not that bad as they portray.
I don't care if the Cavs win the championship or not, but I would love for them to knock out the Heat in the first or 2nd round if they met up...what a way to get back at him.

Nike is so damn smart. Edgy ads get played on the news... I just saw this ad on sportscenter. That, my friends, is called FREE advertising. They pulled it off with the Tiger Woods ad too. Politicians use this strategy all the time.

Its a solid commerical, I wouldnt call it "genius" or "brilliant" though. It got the point across and it was well done....I'm certainly not going to give Lebron any credit for it.
