Did I bring up LSU? Nope, and they arent undefeated.

Just my personal opinion here:
1.) Boise St.- They never have an off game, no matter who they play. There are a complete team and legit.
2.) Oregon- James is a beast and this team is a juggernaut, defense is still questionable, but offense can get it done.
3.) Auburn- Cam Newton is a stud and could lead this team to a BCS title, but I think 'Bama is a huge roadblock
4.) Mizzou- Pinkel is an excellent coach and finally has the team where they need to be
5.)TCU- As others have said, they have dominated this season, but I still question how solid they are.
6.) Utah- Utah may be underrated, I haven't watched them much to be honest, but they have been solid over the last few seasons
7.) Michigan St.- I think they are the biggest pretenders this season. Then again, they could be Ohio State of 2002.

My reluctance to totally "buy in" to the Michigan State hype is that there has been a number of seasons where they have looked legit to start a season only to choke in the later stretch of the season and drop the last few games (and by games I have even seen seasons where they have dropped the last 4 or so in a row). If you are familiar with this Spartan squad, there are depth issues. There are discipline issues. MSU would be serious underdogs against either Oregon or Auburn on a neutral field; heck maybe even in East Lansing.

There is a reason they never have an off game, and it is the reason many argue they don't deserve to play for the national championship. They only play 1 or 2 real games a season. They can spend every minute of practice time preparing for those games because their other 10 games are a joke. It simply isn't fair to a team like Ohio State or Alabama to be left out of the title game in favor of Boise State when they have those advantages. I bet Ohio State puts up a better showing in Madison if they had several weeks to prepare for it, with scrimmages against New Mexico State and Louisiana Tech thrown in there.

I just hate not having a true playoff and letting the players decide who is the best rather than a stupid computer.

If Auburn enters the Iron Bowl unbeaten and is matched up against a 1-loss Alabama team, the winner of that game will win the SEC West. I'd say it's almost a guarantee that if that SEC West team wins the SEC-CG, they will be in the BCS title game. No matter if it's Auburn with 0 losses or Alabama with 1-loss. Obviously if it's the former, it's almost a lock, but I could even see a 1-loss Alabama team making it over another unbeaten.

Marshall...Miami
Ohio, Eastern Michigan, Illinois, Indiana....Wisconsin
Purdue, Minnesota, Penn State....Iowa
Michigan
Ohio State has PLENTY of shit teams on their schedule to prep all they wanted for Wisconsin. Indiana, Purdue, and Minnesota are terrible and bookend the biggest game of the year. Throw in Eastern Michigan, Ohio, and Marshall? How can you honestly say this schedule is respectable at all? If you're going to make a schedule argument, it doesn't really matter is it's Indiana and Co. or a WAC because both Ohio State and Boise State would destroy teams in both conferences.
Halftime scores:
Ohio State 35 Marshall 7
Ohio State 34 Ohio 0
Ohio State 38 Eastern Michigan 14
Ohio State 31 Indiana 0
Ohio State 42 Purdue 0
Those aren't games a team needs to get psyched for. Just complete demolitions by Ohio State because 1) Ohio State is very good, and 2) those are opponents are very bad. JUST LIKE THE WAC.

Don't disagree. But Boise still does NOT have to go into environments likes Wisconsin and Iowa against quality teams. Boise toughest game to date, Oregon State...at HOME. So yes, even though OSU and even Bama play a handful of shit teams...they still pay a handful of decent to very good teams that Boise does NOT play. And the Big Ten bad teams are still better then the bad WAC teams as well. There is a physical and mental grind in the BCS conferences that are not in conferences like the WAC from top to bottom. That is not even debatable.

Yep. Same team that has since won 6 in a row and has managed to get back to being ranked 21st.

Give me a break...have you seen whom they've played in those 6 games? Duke, Wake Forest, NC State, East Carolina, Central Michigan, and Boston College.
Winning those 6 games does not trump the loss to James Madison.

Umm, Yes they are. Just ask Ohio State last year when they were not psyched for Purdue, and lost. Boise does not need to be psyched for Idaho, because even then they would not lose; Idaho, etc. are THAT bad.
Who knows, maybe Boise has had a few bad games, but we would not know becuase the difference between having an off-day and a good-day is beating Idaho by 30 instead of 45, respectively.

So they aren't ranked 21st? Quite a few people must feel they have righted the ship a little bit after the first two losses for them to be ranked.

Well if they've righted the ship, that means they must have been bad at one point..cough cough the Boise State game.
So why would that be Boise's toughest game so far?

You are right, I forgot that you said Oregon State at home was their toughest game, so it must be true. So sorry for questioning you on that.

Others as well? What logic did you use? They lost to James Madison? Shit happens. OSU lost to Purdue last year. Purdue lost to Notre Dame. By your "logic" ND > OSU last year?

Va Tech is ranked 21st, Oregon State is in the "Others receiving votes" category. Yes I know they lost one of the brothers Rogers. Boise played Va Tech at FedEx Field where it was not close to a neutral site game. Va Tech was Boise's toughest game.

Honestly I'd say Michigan State is the best undefeated left, but I could see them either winning it all or losing the next 10 games in a row.
They'd win the SEC though.

And I never realized that the rankings are the end in all in a discussion about who is the better team. So I assume you completely agree with the rankings of teams 1-25 ?
VaTech maybe ranked higher and have a better record...but fact remains, that Oregon State played Boise MUCH tougher, on Boise home field. And Oregon State also has a win over Arizona, and played TCU to a fairly close game as well.
Sorry, but I'll take Oregon State over VaTech...easily.

Wow Karen, wow.
James Madison is an FCS opponent, Purdue plays in an FBS AQ league.
And really, basing your logic off rankings?
