Caught the very end of the radio broadcast after the game and they said Toothman (QB) had 218 yds rushing for Salem. Sorry, don't have any other details. I don't think the Potters had seen anybody like him this year. He had two touchdown runs where it looked like they had him trapped by the sideline but he got by them somehow. For a guy that is built like a fullback (about 6-2,6-3 220 pounds or so) he has amazing moves.Spread All Day;537941 wrote:wow stat line?

Salem has another game to watch on Saturday, they beat Labrae who plays at Steubie CC on Saturday.

SCC will not win they stink this year. Did Salem really destroy East Liverpool? East Liverpool probably lost home game to the 5 hole If Edison wins they may even get the 5 spot. Why is it some games Liverpool just doesnt show up and then they beat some really good teams . It baffles me.

Great win Salem! Lots to be proud of tonight on Senior Night. Toothman is one amazing athlete, but the whole team contributed as well. The running of Toothman, Bailey and Noel just wore the Potters down.

Only game that matters is Edison/IC.
If Edison wins, Salem is off to Death Valley
If IC Wins, it's a trip longer than last year's to Sheridan.

Great win Salem... You deserve to be in the playoffs. I can tell you this much Toothman is a beast!!! I figured Salem might win.. But wow a blow out with a very good potters team!! So that should show that Salem is real as it gets.

I'll be honest, this score really took me by surprise. I'm quite familiar with what Trent can do, but in all honesty, I expected the game to be much, much closer. Congratulations, Salem. You definitely deserve to be in. Incredible performance. Good luck the rest of the way.
