I'm so disappointed that Evergreen came out and laid an egg against Bryan...just like 2006. Theywould have been in had they won and they get down 14-0...They did make a game of it but you can't dig yourself a hole like that.

Can Orrville jump Genoa? Right now it looks like Orrville can jump Ottawa Glandorf but thats about it

With a win over Wooster tonight in the 100th meeting Orrville will jump Genoa for 3rd by 0.2 points. At least that's the way I read it.

Yep. Orrville wins and we travel to Orrville. Orrville loses, and we travel to Genoa. I'm not sure which I would want. But either way, we need to bring our A-game to get our 1st round win. Go Triway Titans!

Im guessing the Comet faithful will be cheering for Wooster tonight. I dont think Genoa wants to meet up with O-G in round 1

How are Genoa's defensive backs? I remember last year O-G's defensive backfield was highly touted for "slowing down" Kenton, and they slowed us down, too. Orrville's DB's are fast and athletic and matched up well with us, but not many teams have the same athleticism. How about Genoa?

I don't think any team wants to be matched up with O-G....they are going to be a tough out!
Colt fans don't get your panties in a bunch after that statement....yes you guys are going to be a tough matchup for anyone too!
Just hope the Riders come out and take care of business tonight for that one last home game!

Our DB's are pretty athletic but fundamentally they need to improve vastly. Mistimed a lot of jumpballs and didn't seal off slant routes properly which would spell trouble against a Spread passing attack
And tonight I hope Orrville wins because if Genoa is going to ever take down OG it'll be at a home in front of a crazy loud crowd for Genoa. South Carolina the other week proved you can beat a team a little above you with help from a great crowd

Looks like OG is traveling to Genoa. Orrville is taking care of Wooster quite easily.

Have you been to the Genoa games lately I would hardly call the crowd loud and crazy. They better get their passion back for this team if they want to be a factor against OG.

Thank you Dover...same to you as well!
As far as Genoa fans are concerned...as long as they have their traveling trailer park/tailgating they will be the craziest fans you'll see haha. I'm still in awe at the amount of tailgating and campers etc at last years Orrville/Genoa game, blaring MC Hammer among other old rap songs haha!!

Yeah, I'm sure everyone and their great great grandfather will be there to support the Comets.
That is the game of the week in our region:
Ottawa-Glandorf @ Genoa
Talk about two great teams and one has to go home...

Genoa was as close as one of those 0-10 teams winning one game from being the #3 seed. If only Rossford pulled it off last night against BG, lost by 5pts. But so it goes.
Week 11 matchups:
#8 Mansfield Ontario @ #1 Bellville Clearfork
#7 Huron @ Elyria Catholic
#6 Wooster Triway @ Orrville
#5 Ottawa Glandorf @ #4 Genoa
Obviously, like many years, the 4/5 matchup is most intriguing. OG coming to Genoa in a rematch of the 2008 Regional finals where Genoa won big, but this year OG is stacked and they showed traveling doesn't bother them. They traveled to Triway last year and came out with a win. It will be hard hitting, in the trenches type of football where the toughest team will prevail. But what is the scoop on the other 3 matchups? Triway and Orrville meet and we'll see if Triway can avenge a 41-19 loss. Huron and EC meet to try to keep the game under 4 hours. And quite frankly I know nothing about Ontario. Fill me in?

Looks like the toughest game will be in week 2 of the playoffs, when cf plays either genoa or o-g. Being a cf fan, wish we would of ended up 2nd or 3rd and left that game till the final.
