He was waiting for a big moment to show his hamstring was feeling better! That SB completely changed the strategy of the inning, but the DP ruined the good situation it put the Phils in.

Well if you knew the 1st 2 batters are going to get on their next at bat you definately do it......you don't know these things

This could continue for hours....I respect your thoughts........I just would have played differently in that particular situation.....a dozen different scenarios could be brought about....no biggee.

That option was removed by Sanchez making the smart play and stopping short of where Utley could tag him and still get the out at first!

Goodness Contreras has been great since he gave up the 600 ft HR to Adam Dunn his last pitch of the season.

I think they are pushing their luck with him...but man he's been good.

All those different what if scenarios is why I like baseball so much. You have to think so much to do the best thing, much in the heat of the moment, just like Sanchez making the right play to not run into Utley's tag in order to get a run in.

Rollins didn't show much range there.............. It probably didn't matter much because he wouldn't have gotten the speedy Torres if he would of dove but that looked like a ball he could of knocked down.

That would have been enough to make the runner safe at first, and if you noticed, that was what made Utley miss the ball - he saw Sanchez stop and tried to even hurry up more. Also while Utley was taking those 2-3 steps, Sanchez could back up too.

Utley's glove sucked up that "sno-cone" catch pretty quickly! Very easily could have been another "just missed" play by Utley - he's had several of those this post season.
