I couldn't find a thread on this game, so I figured I would get the discussion started. How bad do the Browns lose this game. If Drew Brees gets going like he did against Tampa, it is going to be a long day for the Browns defense. I also received an ESPN text stating that McCoy is likely to start this game. I say allow McCoy to start the next three games (Saints, Pats, Jets). If he can get through those 3 games with a solid performance along with the Pitt game from last week, then I think he could handle anything.

Saints win rather easily in the dome.

Spread is -13. I don't see the Browns covering.

The Browns blitz relentlessly while getting little to no pressure on Brees, leaving our corners, who are manned up on the outside, to get torched. Ben Watson rushes for 120yds, has 1 receiving td, and returns a kickoff for a td, while having 5 rec for 93yds.

35-14 Saints.

I'm looking for Chris Ivory to have another huge day I'm thinking he will run for 130 and 2 TDs on Sunday!

Didn't know Watson was seeing time at RB now. Might as well put him back to return punts also, he has to be better than Stuckey. Probably would at least know how to turn your hands to catch a punt. Hell, most pee wee players know how to do that.

This game just proves how bad the Browns have been since they came back. If I remember right back in 99 when the Browns returned one of the two games they won that year was against the Saints. They won on a hail mary at the end of the game from Couch to I think Kevin Johnson. My point is both teams were obviously terrible that year, the Browns an expansion team and the Saints perennial cellar dwellars underachieving under Mike Ditka.

Now look at both teams. Saints improved under Haslett. Browns didn't under Davis, Crennel. Saints reached top with franchise qb and coaching of Sean Payton. Browns have hovered at the bottom of the standings with multiple qbs and bad drafting. Now Browns not given a chance to win while starting another rookie qb.

This. It is pretty sad. There have been plenty of franchises that have gone from bottom feeders to playoff contenders since the Browns have been back. Some franchises have even gone from bottom feeder to playoff contenders back to bottom feeders and now back to playoff contenders in that same span.

Browns are always slow on artificial turf, I am thinking the score is somthing like 33-17 Saints. Eric Wright prolly gets abused. I hope we see more Haden/Hillis here. If Hillis is healthy and we can successfully run the ball I think the browns can escape without being blown out.

Ben Watson goes for 2 passing tds, 2 running tds, 1 special teams td and one interception return for a touchdown....Browns win 63-38.

Man, it looks like I should have picked up Watson for my FF team. Someone beat me to it.....

As for the game...I f Hillis can get going, the Browns stay in the game. We have to keep Brees on the sideline.

That's only 6 touchdowns for Watson, but you have the team scoring 9. What guys on the team have impressed Watson enough that he's willing to let them score?
