Who you got? I think it depends on which Auburn team shows up. On top of that, it depends on which LSU team shows up. Auburn has been more consistent, but they do have some nailbiters. LSU has won 4 out of the last 5 and beat AUB soundly last year. Im going with LSU thinking their defense will slow down Cam Newton.

I'm taking Auburn in this one. Cam Newton is an absolute beast. Auburn will put points on the board, and I don't think LSU has the offense to match them.

LSU's defense will slow them down, and Auburn's defense will make LSU look like an offensive juggernaut. LSU by 10.

Auburn. I still don't think LSU is very good.

Normally I'd say Auburn by 7, but you gotta figure with Miles that will be extended by a score, so I'll say Auburn by 14.

i'm 1 year too late on seeing this game. last year was a rout, this year I think it's going to be tight, but same outcome. I'll take LSU by 10.
i just feel that LSU has the defense to shut down Auburn's 50 pt/game offense and Auburn's defense is bad enough to let LSU score 30, which is what it'll take to beat Auburn at home.

This. Although Auburn defense is not that good, LSU offense is horrid. They have played one solid game, vs Florida. But now we see that really wasn't anything special as Fla is shit. LSU was not impressive vs McNeese St las week. I think Cam Newton is too much and Auburn will score some points in this game. 27-17 Auburn. But the way the SEC is going this year, who knows what could happen.

Auburn, for the sole reason of Cam Newton vs LSU's qb. I'll take Newton

Tough one to predict. They match up well against each other. I'll take a solid defense over a solid offense any day of the week though. LSU by 6

Neither of these teams have beaten anyone worthy to deserve their rankings. I'm hoping Ohio State drops another game so we can match up against one of these teams in the Cap One bowl where it'll be an easy win.

I typically take a good defense over offense as well. But when your offense and QB play is as poor as LSU...I can't go there. I think Auburn will get enough offense to pull this game off. And its at Auburn as well.

LSU had no offense the last couple years and beat Auburn.......of course they didnt have Newton either. If you shut Newton down (a huge if) they will get beat. Auburn has had close calls vs. UK, USCe, and Clemson. They just had an amazing game vs. Arkansas.

Don't disagree with that. They were lucky to beat UK actully. But lets not forget the close calls LSU has had. Tenn and Fla? And they didn't exactly look like world beaters last week vs 1AA McNeese St. And if the game were at LSU, I'd give them the edge. And its not like the LSU defense is some jaggernaut...they given up 24 vs UNC and 29 to a BAD Fla offense.

The Hat's poor clock management costs them in the end.

LSU is ranked #3rd in the country in total defense behind BSU and TCU who play nobodies. http://www.ncaa.com/sports/m-footbl/stats/ncaa-m-footbl-fbs-team-total-defense.html With the schedule LSU has had so far, thats not too shabby. As for allowing 29 to UF........that wasnt the defense's fault. LSU turned it over twice in UF territory setting up short yardage, and UF ran a kickoff back. Basically UF only earned 8 points on our defense. UNC is another story, but the first game of the year.centralbucksfan;525514 wrote: And if the game were at LSU, I'd give them the edge. Exactly my point why I think Auburn wins...LSU offense is horrid and turnover prone. And I think Newton will get what is needed in this game for Auburn to win.

Im not about to take your bait. I have no idea on the score.
I wonder if injuries will play any factor in this game. Auburn has defensive backs hurt or out, while LSU's top rb has an ankle problem and their #2 receiver has a broken finger.
In other news QB Zach Mettenberger (formerly of UGA who got kicked off for "illegal use of hands" and now a JUCO) has LSU in his top 2 for next year. LSU could use him.
And T. McShay is an idiot, saying LSU doesnt have good receivers. Ummm....3 of them are 5*'s and it doesnt help when you dont have the best QB's throwing you the ball.

Ummm, what have I been running my mouth about lately? Nothing besides the LSU vs. ND schedule. As I said, I havent ran my mouth about OSU losing this past w/e, but I can guarantee if LSU loses to a team ranked higher than them this w/e, it will be a roast fest. All I see in every topic, is you always trying to start stuff (especially with me while I never follow you around) while never adding anything valuable. And win or lose, you wont see me on this topic running my mouth, or making excuses. Keep trolling like your brothers ihslep and society.

now you're reaching, cats..do you really want me to show you examples of your trolling? as I stated earlier, any comments I have directed toward you are reactive to your posts...and we won't see you "on this topic running your mouth"? now that's rich, even for you.
now, what's your prediction...
