Charged with what? They didn't do anything illegal and were let into the event. If they are actually charged I hope they sue the crap out of the Secret Service.

Just because they were able to make it in doesn't mean they posed a threat to the President. They still went through all the same security checks for weapons and such.

This story is really just a big overreaction.

It really is a shame that the fact of the matter is, due to a relative few psychotics, our President is no longer accessible to us. Gone are the days when the average Joe can walk off the street, into the Oval Office and make a statement to the President. Those years have been over, basically, since Lincoln. It's hard to imagine having the ability to have a hands-on President.

Like I said in an earlier post; some secret service people's heads should roll. But the couple who pulled this stunt had no intent of harming the President or anybody else. They're just morons, IMO, looking for their 15 minutes of fame.
They just need to be given the what-for and a stiff warning.
