Can't believe it is week 9 already...and really can't believe NW has only won 2 games so far. I really hope we can make a push to win these last two.

This game will be all about PRIDE! (for both teams really)

From results thus far through the season, it leads me to believe that NW should win this one easily...however, our team hasn't shown that they can beat anyone easily.

Can't make it to the game this week, so if someone can text me score updates, that would be great.

Thoughts on the game?

Can WB defend against the pass? How quick are your DB's?

Maybe if they changed there name from Indians it wouldn't be like the Cle. Indians theme "wait till next year :)

I thought that was the Brown's theme too...

However, you are right, we will be back next year...with a vengence. We should have a REALLY good team at least the next 3 years. It is amazing the talent that is coming up. In at least one of those years our goal won't be just the playoffs, it will be a state title (not that Whiting doesn't have that goal every year...just trying to make a point).

We are EXTREMELY young this year.

Someone correct me if I am wrong (which I very easily could be), last thing I saw, our schedule next year is (in no order):

Orrville
Dover
Canton South
Poland
St. Thomas
Padua Franciscan
Cols. St. Charles
Canfield
New Philly
Youngstown East

There are a couple on there (Dover & East) that I am not totally sure of.

I am trying to remember what I saw in the NW paper last night. It was something like this:
I know the teams are right, and I remember there are 2 home games to end the season, but I am unsure of the order.

1. Orrville
2. Open
(Not sure of the order after this)
3. Poland

Yeah. What happened. Vic get mad because Bob called a time out on 4th, then he ran the fake punt on him? I heard something about it.

WB was down by 2 scores. After the NW interception on their own 20, they lined up in the victory formation and took 3 knees, but after the 3rd, the WB coach called TO to force NW to punt with 14 clicks left. I am not sure if he was thinking punt block and onside kick or something, but not a realistic thought. This must have angered Vic, as when the balll was again ready for play, Vic called a TO. Then as the ball was set for play again, he called another. (as if to prove a point) NW then faked the punt and ran 40 or so yards to run out the clock. Not sure really what was going on, but if I had to guess, I would say that it had something to go with an over-inflated ego. One of the more classless moves I have seen. I was a bit embarrassed to be wearing red.
