Dthane...I wish we would play Big Red! that would be a great game, you would probably win 75% of the time, but it would be a great game and great atmosphere. And I doubt you are scared of anyone, haha as our we.

As for our stadium, it is slowly getting upgraded, we got new bleachers home/away which seat about 5,500 (estimated) about half of your stadium. lol we would have to bring in a lot of extra bleachers if you came to our place (highly doubt that). We would take the money and travel to Stueby. Our natural grass field is probably one of the best in the area though. We take good care of it.

Smucker's is still here lol, they keep this town going. They do so much for the schools, and donated 500k for our new multi-purpose facility. I would say in two years we have Smucker's Fields....when we get field turf.

Two great programs with big time tradition...what a game that would be!

This may mean nothing but I respect Orrville because in the 08 state title game I sat with two of the nicest Orrville fans that were cheering for BIG RED. Roll Red Roll

Could've been my father and I....We always sit on their side and cheer for Steuby, we go to so many playoff games, and usually go to the Big Red game, if Orrville isn't playing on the same night.

Nothing like getting back on track by beating another out of state ''power''.

Well they would have a legit chance this year at D-1 . Them poor D-5 schools .I think Kirtland is the second best team in that Division and they will be playing Ursulin in week 13. Only way Ursulin loses championship is if that runner gets hurt and a couple of lineman . anyway back to the Red .We really do have a very nice team if healthy . I dont know the mind set of this group ,I guess we will see . We have a real chance at a title this year ,but it is going to be tough sledding . If we are able to achieve the semi finale game that will be wonderful . Mooney will be 8-4 at the time and we have a chance

Why don't you just go ahead and give Ursuline the title? That's why they play the game. Anything can happen.

They ought to have theyre own playoff system . Its one thing when a private school has like 1200 kids and is plying other big schools but when you have teams like Mooney...Ursulin...Delphose St Johns.....Newark Catholic for years.........Kettering Alter... Clev Benidictine ... That have all been basically division 1 schools in disguise . Its different caliber . ahh just forget it . no use . cant win this

St.Joes(3-5) defeated Cardinal O'Hara(5-3) 43-25 Oct, 16th. Cardinal O'Hara lost to a team called St.Francis(3-5) 35-6 this past weekend. Cardinal O'Hara is considered a Division 6 school in Ohio.

Tonowanda has brought a couple very nice teams down here. I was very impressed with them . We should handle them this week and maybe both teams can combine for 100 and break the record for combined points scored at Harding "1991 67-32 " last week it was a 98 point deal . Oh well get well soon Red . Id really like us to win our region this year . All these haters are on us like sharks to blood

Tonowanda has actually had a few very nice teams . You know we played some very good out of state competition. McKeesport ,very tough and physical . Brooke a very good state runner up team and rival, Morgantown a very good and big state contender, Inkster we opened with and at the time they were rated 11th in Michigan in all schools . We set the tone for them the rest of the way . The DC team we played is a very tough big school who plays nationally ranked Good Council and other very tough catholic schools in that area . We lost to a very smart and fortunate Massillon team on theyre home and to an Ursulin team who could contend in the D-1 ranks for a title this year . Some of you guys insult us like we are pretenders or patsies . I just dont get it . We are not a bad team . I sure hope Reno and his boys make you guys eat crow , I will be all over you . And dont come on here if we come a few games short because that would be bunk.

No one is saying you're pretenders or patsies. Big Red is an incredibly good team. Your schedule however, is chalk full of them.

Personally, I think Steuby schedules brilliantly. Always plenty of home games against easily slaughtered Harbin Cows, coupled with a sprinkling of quality Ohio teams for some "signature" wins. It's a difficult challenge, and the AD/Reno are to be applauded for what I imagine are countless hours trying to put this thing together each season.

My only beef is the "look at all our Harbin points...we play the toughest and/or D1 schedule around" shtick. I fail to see why y'all continue to try and spin it this way...for a mostly knowledgeable fanbase, it doesn't reflect very well.

I'd just like to see ANY other area team play this schedule ! Then when they end up with 2-3 wins and every one would say that their schedule was BRUTAL !!

Oh there was a fortunate team on the field that day, but it wasn't Massillon....Just ask half of our statrers, they'll tell you, since they saw it first hand from the sidelines.

Just for fun skank, could you go into a little more detail? I am not sure which direction that comment is headed. But then again, I don't get out much.

Do you mean like the 2nd half of the Ursuline game? They must have seen some great football that day. Sorry Skank I shoudn't have said that, but I hit the Post Quick Reply Button too fast.
Enjoy the playoffs.

I honestly don't understand what you mean by that 787, my response was to tt84's "fortunate" remark. Maybe it's just me, but if MY team was beaten by 21 pts, when the team that beat me had a plethora of its starters in street clothes standing on the sidelines, I don't think I would be calling the winning team fortunate.
