Conan: "What would you do if you were in that situation?"

Harrison Ford: "Shit and die"

That had me cracking up

I thought Ford was drunk or high. Didn't realize he was always that awkward and spacy.

And myyyyyyy god Rosario Dawson.

I just watched the interview online. That was almost on Pheonix's level. Damn.

Joaquin Phoenix was amazingly awkward. Of course he went through that whole stage and then came back onto Letterman and was normal. I actually thought Letterman was ok with Phoenix. I wouldve thought he would butcher an interview like that. Conan killed it with Harrison Ford last night though.

Conan is the biggest douchebag in all of television. He is not funny at all and everything he does is just a copy of the other late night hosts. MORON...............

^^ Mhmm. Dude is genuinely a good interviewer and is genuinely humble. He was the first student at Harvard to be elected student body president twice in a row since 1920. He also wrote several of my favorite episodes of the Simpsons of all time.

To say he isn't funny tells me you don't have a great sense of humor. Jay Leno and his army of 65+ year old viewers can stay on NBC haha, I will never watch another minute.

^^^He was an essential part to MOST peoples favorite Simpsons.

Mine were:
Homer at the Bat
Flaming Moes
Burns Verkaften ver Kraftwerk (or something lol)
Cape Feare
Mr Plow
Krusty gets Kancelled
Marge vs the Monorail

Conan was essential to the peak years of the Simpsons.

Tonight should be great with Russell Brand. Some dont like him, but I think he is hysterical and the back and forth he will have with Conan will be great.

God, I can believe he talked about gropping the Queen. I'm not even British and that was over the line (not in a bad way, in a "I can't believe he said that and it is fucking hilarious" way). Fucking Brilliant.

I was pretty much rolling. That was hilarious. Conan talked 90% of the Ford interview, and 10% of the Brand interview. Im glad it evened out haha.

I am just finishing up the Harrison Ford interview. It was akward, but in a rather humorous, interesting way. I saw the Joaquin Phoenix interview when first aired. That was just fucked up. Ford's was entertaining, but Brand was a hell of a lot better. That seriously may be the most I have ever enjoyed any interview on Conan, Jon Stewart, or Colbert.

Ford was funny, but I think Conan made it better than it would have been elsewhere (Leno, Letterman, etc).

The Phoenix one was the worst Ive ever seen, but I also though Letterman butchered it. Conan wouldve struggled as well, but he wouldve made it better.

Agreed, although I am pretty sure that I recently read that the Phoenix interview was planned and faked.

I thought I read where he planned it and faked it (and did so for a whole year, and made a documentary of it???) But I didnt think Letterman knew. Could be wrong.

yeah, I think you're right about that...I think Phoenix and Casey Affleck had the whole thing cooked up to launch a mock documentary of a "celebrity self-destruction"...unsure if it has been released yet. And yes, from everything I heard...Letterman was definitely not in on it.

Okay, that makes sense. I remember it pretty well, and Letterman was NOT happy about it during the interview, and it was pretty obvious. Can't really blame him, either.
