People hate For Love of The Game? If so then this is my answer as well.

Also, quite a few of my friends don't like The Natural. Not sure how that's possible.

Who hates For Love of The Game?

Cannot hate a movie based on a Michael Shaara book.

Shaara and his son Jeff are some of my favorite authors.

I can't believe I am going to say this, but I also liked The Devil Wears Prada. I don't think it's considered a bad movie though, just not a guy movie.

The Devil Wears Prada is easily my favorite movie that a chick has dragged me too.

How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days would be second.

Howard the Duck

Yeah I know the concept of a talking duck was stupid, but the subtle sexual innuendo's and the concept of this mallard banging Lea Thompson was pretty funny.

I think people hated For Love Of The Game because of the improbability of the story line, which to me makes it all that much better...

What was improbable about it? An old guy throwing a no-hitter? Nolan Ryan threw a no-hitter at age 44.

My wife, and 95% of the women I know. "Monty Python and the Search For The Holy Grail" seems to have to same effect.

I think the fact that he's at the twilight of his career, throws a perfect game on the last day of the regular season, against the Yankees, in the Bronx, and decides to retire to end it all.... Oh, and he gets the girl.

Personally I love it, but a lot of people hated it that I've talked to

Ishtar.

For an entertainment insider, hilarious. For people in the real world, just stupid.

Me too, that movie, in my eyes, put Field of Dreams as the #2 baseball movie of all time. FLotG is now #1.

Quite an amazing movie to be honest.

I'm not a DWP fan, but How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days was a really good chick flick.
