I remember in my film class we watched super size me at the beginning of the year and the teacher took a large fry and put it in his closet and at the end of the year he pulled it out and the fries still looked the same and tasted the same

Did anybody see the video that the super size me guy made about big macs and stuff? I saw it on facebook a few days ago.

He had a Big Mac, Quarter Pounder, Fish Filet, McChicken, McDonalds fries, regular fries, and a typical burger. After 1-2 days the regular fries and typical burger were moldy. After a couple more days/weeks the mcdonalds stuff started to mold. At the end of 6 weeks, the McDonald fries were AOK.

I haven't eaten McDonalds or Burger King in about 2 years because I couldn't even eat something without puking it right back up. I eat Taco Bell/Chipotle about once a week. The same with Chinese food.

I eat fast food about 3-5 times a week. And I also eat a lot of junk food at home. I recently had a checkup and my doctor said everything looked good except my blood pressure was a little low but its always been that way. I've ate this way for years and I always love it when people say it will catch up with me....I'm still waiting for that day to come.

I'm with Laley I don't care whats in it or how its made if it tastes good then I don't care.

In downtown Cbus I either hit up Subway for something healthy or Danny's Deli for a chicken caesar salad. Luckily there's not really any "fast food" joints around here.

Just make sure you are healthy and dont eat it daily and it isnt a big deal. It might be disgusting when you read about it etc. But it isnt going to make you fat and unhealthy by itself.

Yeah. If you keep a steady workout routine, eating that unhealthy shit isn't bad once a week.

Personally I try to avoid fast food joints not necessarily because of health, but because when it comes down to it, I can make a grilled chicken salad or grilled chicken and rice at home for about $2.

However, last sunday before our club golf match against Michigan I was feeling really hungover so I ate a bunch of greasy delicious taco bell that was absolutely phenomenal. After looking at the nutritional facts, I ate almost 1800 calories in that one $5 meal.

I've been working on losing weight. Cutting out fast food as much as humanly possible is a big part of that just because of how many calories you pack on in just one meal. Like, I'd get the McD's Angus Mushroom and Swiss combo once a week or so. Looking online, that's 820 for the sandwich and 380 for the fries (assuming they are medium in a regular combo meal). 1200 fucking calories in one sitting. I'm sure I metabolized at least a third of that before the rest turned into pure gut-clinging fat. Right now, I have two rules: 1. A salad a day as a meal. 2. If the rest of the food's going to be processed shit, at least make it smaller 300-600 calorie meals of shit. Like, that individual-serving microwavable pizza I put down a while ago probably wasn't overly healthy, but at 320 or so calories, at least I'm not pumping some mammoth amount of crap into me and turning into Lethargy-Man for the rest of the day.

Heretic, I was up to about 183 about 2 months ago and now down to 168 and this is all I've done:

Eat better, and less. I eat around 1500-1800 calories per day, depending on the time I have to eat that day.

Stop eating when high. This is the absolute hardest thing to do and the reason I haven't lost more weight.

Bike about 50 miles a week. 5 days a week I hit the bike for 10 miles, takes me about 28-29 minutes and normally I shoot some hoops or whatnot after.

The toughest thing for me was to change my eating habits, but I've become addicted to grilled chicken caesar salads which pack on around 300 calories tops.

That's been the killer for me. Not so much for the average "catch a buzz" night (where, at worst, I'll eat a few munchies, particularly if at a friend's place), but more for, say, days like last Saturday, when I started partying a bit before noon. By 10 p.m., I was stoned to infinity, so I ordered Dominos and, when I woke up in the morning, I had a stomachache because I somehow put down a medium pizza and order of cheese bread. Without doing all the math, that seems to come out as about 2700-3000 calories. All at once. Immediately before crashing. Doesn't take a nutritionist to figure out that might have been a bad idea. FML...

Being "high" and eating at the same time just cancels each other out :)

About 3 years ago I was pushing 195 - 199 and I was shocked. Over the past three years I have slowed the drinking way down basically to a weekend day and vacations. Less food during meals and less late at night. I referee Nov - March so that is great workouts and play volleyball alot of weekends during the summer. I now sit at 165.

I have too many similar stories to this.

We should develop some synthetic THC that doesn't give you the munchies. That would be the best of both worlds.

I have found that any bud smoking i partake in, i always find myself with any empty candy wrappers, ghardettos bags, a 64 ounce slushee, and some sort of slim jim/beef jerky combination...It's terrible!

Indeed. The only worrisome nights are the ones where a delivery place is still open when I'm ready to crash. I'm tempted to order, then. I did myself a huge favor when I suddenly thought to myself, "Dude, yeah, you're high when you heat up that DiGeorno's and add about a pound of extra toppings to it...but you were definitely sober when you went to Kroger's and bought all the stuff to make it." Now, I don't buy the pizzas, pizza rolls, french fries and other crap that I'd gorge on late at night. I have a lot of food, but nothing that I tend to associate with get'n high, so I never cook it late at night.

I went with that approach.

I got rid of all of my junk food, and now the only food I have at my house is cereal, milk, fruit, veggies, chicken breasts, eggs, pasta and other healthy things.

However, when I'm high, I SMASH on cereal (even though it's Smart Start or Special K) or I smash on pasta. So really, the amount of food doesn't really change, just less calories and I have to go through the effort of making it.

I've found the best method is getting a roommate to stop you from eating.

Fab, it's true. However, on a poor college budget, I can only afford the good stuff once in a while.
