Welcome to the NFL, kid.
Al Capone would die of a brain aneurysm if the Browns won.

Poor kid. Cant wait to see his face when he looks over the line and sees Harrison licking his chops.

This will be a joke by the end of quarter 1. I guess, from McCoys POV, it will only get easier from then on out.

You believed in him enough to draft him, why not start him when both the starters go down.

Now I know they still have to play the game but I can imagine very few scenarios where this is a legitimately competitive game.

I can't understand why we haven't seen the wildcat a lot more this season. When you had Wallace as QB, you had a lot of different wrinkles and posibilities that could have come out of it. The Browns need to be creative if they expect to win. If they just line up and play, they are going to get beat 4 out of 5 times.

You have to be able to successfully put the ball in the air in order to beat the Steelers.

I almost wonder if they have been withholding the more exotic aspects of the Wildcat/Flash for this week specifically.

This week because they play the Steelers or this week because they have no viable quarterback?

Probably both. We didn't see real extensive use of the Wildcat until the Steelers game. I knew going in that the Steeler defense would be vulnerable if they ran the ball to the outside avoiding Hampton and the middle. If you go back and look at that game, the Browns most successfull runs were Wildcat sweeps by Cribbs and a TD sweep by Jennings. With Polamalu back in the fold I have my doubts that will be as effective this time around.

I agree. However this year the browns do have a much better running game than in the past. Hillis could be more of a difference maker in this game than the wildcat formation.
But as I mentioned earlier you have to br able to throw and complete passes to beat the Steelers and unless Seneca plays I find that to be a daunting task for Cleveland

I don't think Hillis will make a big difference. The Steelers tend to shut down the big, lumbering battering rams. It seems like the shifty, smaller dudes do more damage against their defense to me.
I agree they will have to have some sort of passing attack and with McCoy's limited range (short to intermediate), that would play into the Steelers favor to cheat up toward the LOS and condense the field. Force him to try to beat you with the long ball.

The Browns should sit Hillis this week and let him heal, knowing they are not going to win.
Hopefully they can keep McCoy under 15 pass attempts and just try to shorten the game and hope that Roethlisberger is rusty and makes some mistakes to keep it respectable.

You haven't seen any of the wildcat, because the NFL is a trendy league, and that trent is o.v.e.r.
