I heard this on the KNR pre game show yesterday and when you think about it, it makes sense......
McCoy starting against the Steelers was a no pressure situation for him. No one expected the team to win or him to perform all that well. If his first start was against Buffalo a team Cleveland should beat that would have been more of a pressure on McCoy.

It makes sense to the outside observer and critique. But a starting QB is going to be putting a ton of pressure on himself every game they play no matter who its against. To think Colt went out there saying well it doesnt matter its the Steelers we should lose doesnt make sense to me.

I don't believe that at all.....and it was against a top 5 defense.
Sounds like something stupid that Hammer would say.

It was a theory proposed by either Mr. Bentley or Mr. Cherry.

They are two former NFL players who are from the Greater Cleveland area.

Okay? So they just ignore the fact that McCoy played fairly well on the road against a top defensive squad? And use a subjective, open-ended statement that will never be proven true?

This was discussed in the pre-game show.

I agree with that theory. With that being said,I think McBoy performed quite well against a defense that was not targeting him. It's obvious who the Steeler D was targeting.

I would not be surprised if it was LeCharles....he has some pretty retarded theories. Usually Deron and the others just bite their tongue because he never gives in....he is the SQ Crazies of talk radio.

McCoy had an excellent game. If the dumbass o coordinator had him play action on first down the whole game, Pittspoke would have been toast.
Mangini is an idiot. And what's with calling TO's down 11 points... when Pittspuke was running the clock out on the Browns 12 yard line Did Mangine have 5K bet on Pittsburgh minus 14?
And speaking of shit coaching....what is with having Stuckey back fielding punts? Are they fucking blind? I never saw a player...either college or pro...not be able to judge a punt like that. 5 straight times he tried to catch the ball in his hands above his helmet.

Yeah. I'm not buying that theory either, the guy still had to put up the numbers.

Have you watched a Steeler game this year? If they wanted to they would've killed McBoy. I'll admit he played better than I thought but we took it easy on him.SportsAndLady;524125 wrote:Okay? I know you don't have any credibility but I will address this anyhow....
Nfl players are not geared to take it easy on people...Harrison didn't let up, so get that weakass shit outta here and come with some stronger trolling.

Exactly. The Steelers defense decided to take it easy on a rookie QB making his first career start? That argument makes alot of sense
