They look good, glad Adidas didn't want to go the route of Nike with some of the atrocious Pro Combat stuff.

Kelly said the new jerseys have "some fitting issues"

So, it looks like it possibly doesn't even fit over the pads. This looks like an NFL Lineman trying to fit into a Peewee lineman's jersey.
If it would fit, it looks like he wouldn't be able to move (Fat Guy in a Little Coat anyone?)

Yup. The offense wore them in practice today and liked the way they felt and looked and all that, they just aren't big enough to fit over pads. The defense will try them out tomorrow at practice. I'd assume its a little too late at this point to get them fixed by Saturday.

I wonder if the other schools had similar results.

That's only half right. At least Adidas keeps the uniform look. Some of the Pro-Combat are just awful. No way do I want Michigan's uniforms messed with like that.
Technically the pro-combat unis are worn every game. Its the "system of dress" or something that are the "different" unis. The link to the pro combat style has been posted before. I'm on my phone or else I would look it up. Basically pro-combat refers to the newer material and slimmer style and all of that. The "system of dress" refers to the different style of uni, like the much maligned OSU jersey style.

Since different players wear so many different types and sizes of pads I'm not totally surprised by these issues, however, I didn't hear about any similar issues with the Nike jerseys, so who knows. I wouldn't be surprised for ND and some of the other Adidas schools came out wearing their normal unis on Saturday and waited a week to debut the new ones so that they could get this issue fixed first.

I thought most Nike schools used pro combat with their regular uniforms. Both high schools in my district are using Pro Combat on a weekly basis.

So the pro-combat refers to material and the system of dress is would be like the throw backs OSU wore against Michigan last year?

I haven't looked too extensively, but I haven't heard anything from Michigan about these jerseys, so who knows.

Pretty much yes. The throwbacks and special jerseys that other teams(Florida, LSU, etc) are wearing are called pro combat system of dress. Pro combat is just the type of jersey and what not.So the pro-combat refers to material and the system of dress is would be like the throw backs OSU wore against Michigan last year?
