We get it. You don't like the Reds. No need to piss on our parade in every thread.

I have nothing against the Reds, especially if the parade has floats.

More so just love giving OSU a hard time because he deserves it.

With Dusty Baker as his manager, his arm will get ruined, just watch. Baker did it to Wood and Pryor in Chicago as well.

That was my worry with Baker as a manager when he was first hired but he's been fine with all of the young arms on the team.

Baker didn't do anything wrong in Chicago.

Prior's arm was obviously doomed from the start judging by the insane list of injuries he's had.

Wood wasn't really his fault either.

You can't blame a manager for "overusing" a player. Look at Strasbug, he was utilized literally to what they thought was a perfect extent, and he STILL blew his arm out.

The human body is just not meant to throw the ball overhand at 100 MPH for an extended period of time, which is why flamethrowers like Chapman should remain in the 'pen.

Well Randy Johnson is the all-time saves leader for a reason.

Oops....I forgot he is behind Nolan Ryan.

And as we all know.....the only people who blow their arms out are the ones who throw the fastest.....oh wait.

Isn't it liked 75% of current MLB pitchers have had Tommy John surgery at one point in their careers?

That may be too high, but I remember hearing something ridiculous like this on ESPN a while back.

So that 105mph fastball actually equates to 108mph due to his release point. That's INSANE!

I think it has to do more with the throwing motion and the abuse on the body. If you have a jerky throwing motion pitching a 70 MPH ball compared to a smooth "text book" motion throwing the ball 100 MPH, I would guess the guy throwing the ball 70 MPH wouldn't last as long.
