I'm doing the living with your parents thing right now. Definitely not something that is cool. Wish I had your guts/connections in NYC. Looks like i'll be in SE Ohio for a while

I actually got the job from LinkedIn. All of the connects I have here are in the service, nightlife industry. I'm actually glad I didn't have to go through them, but they can help me with DJing on the side.

I always thought LinkedIn was another BS job site. I had an account for 3 years before actually using the site. Every interview and solid lead I've gotten here in NY have come from there.

Call me crazy but I love living with my parents, lol. They are very easy going so I really don't have to worry about anything. And best of all...it's FREE. I'll stay til they kick me out...or until wildcats and I decide who is relocating so we can live together.

Congrats on the move and the job! I love Chicago and would love to live there at some point. But the fiance and I just bought a house so we are committed to being in Columbus for at least 3 years and then we said we would evaluate everything and see if we wanted to go elsewhere at that time. Just something about those big cities that gets the adrenaline flowing.

Yeah I didn't mind it at first. Then 3 months turned to 6 and I started to lose my mind. My parents are very cool, but too loud for my tastes. I like my own space and quiet.

One think I will miss is a full fridge...I was definitely eatin' good!
