there was a time that Joey Bishop, or Joan Rivers, or even Magic Johnson or Chevy Chase could have laid claim to this coveted title....

but..in 2010, it is all Fallon, baby.

Jimmy Fallon relentlessly puts out bad show, after bad show, with little or no remorse.

Con gratulations!

I'm not usually up that late but at 12:30, Craig Ferguson cracks me up.

I don't think Fallon's show is bad every night. His music guests generally blow but he has a few decent skits he does. His monologue generally sucks. He has to squint to read some of the jokes/headlines.

Fallon has gotten better, but unfortunately that isn't saying much. I never understood the choice in him. For a guy who is up on stage a lot, he has zero stage presence and always seems lost.

Worst ever? The Magic Hour w/ Magic Johnson in the 90's.

I have tried to watch George Lopez and he is awful. Did not laugh one time in 3 shows.

The Pat Sajak Show is an American late-night television talk show which aired on CBS from January 9, 1989 to April 13, 1990...FAIL

When they needed to replace Conan in the time slot they went and asked SNL producer Lorne Michaels for a suggestion (he had suggested Conan years before when he got the job). Michaels is basically considered a god at NBC and he was always going to suggest someone from the SNL family. Unfortunately he missed on his recommendation this time.

I was going to say Magic Johnson's show, but I wasn't sure if that was a daytime or nighttime show.

Fallon is a complete joke. How he even got his late night gig if beyond me.

EDIT: Just saw the explanation above. Michaels should have fired Fallon after his first few skits on SNL.

Yeah, I knew the actual reasoning, but I still don't understand why they felt they HAD to go about it that way, considering that gave them a talent pool of like zero to choose from.

What ever happened to Craig Kilborn? I thought he was a pretty solid host.

As for the worst late night show.....might be before some of your time but The Late Show Starring Joan Rivers on FOX was horrible. I mean, who ever thought a woman can host a late night show and be funny, must be a complete and utter moron.

Magic, hands down. At least Fallon can speak in complete sentences. For those of you who know Magic for being the studio on TNT, he is 100% more articulate now than he was when his show was running. It was dreadful to watch.

Fallon's show reminds me an awful lot of the early days of Conan. His skits are generally somewhat funny...but he's still not comfortable with the monologue or interview segments just yet. But that will come with time.

I can see Fallon being a pretty good show in a few years. Especially with the writers he has. A lot of them are pretty talented comedians.

Fallon will grow into it. And he has the greatest house band of all time.

I like when he does the segments with Josua Topolsky of Engadget.com. You can tell Fallon is into tech and as such he's a bit more loose.

Fallon's skits are generally pretty good. He needs monologue work and better music guests and I think he will be good to go.
