Anybody care?
I guess I still do to certain extent but my days of going to 8-12 games are a thing of a past. They have pissed me off beyond belief and continue to put out a crappy product pretty much year after year. Was it coaching? No. Was it Dougy Mc? No. To me it doesn't seem to matter who is calling the shots they just can't get it done. With a tough as hell Western Conference again I can't see the Jackets making the playoffs, if they do sneak in as a 7/8 they get lambasted yet again and blame it on nobody care its all about tOSU football. Waaah try putting a winner on the ice more than once a decade.
PS. Tell Rick from the CBJ ticket staff to lose my f'ing number.
3pm faceoff today vs San Jose in Sweden. go jackets I guess.

I'm excited to see what the new staff can get out of the guys. Excited to see what Filatov can bring to the table. I don't expect them to make the playoffs, but then again, I didn't expect them to make it a couple years ago.

Go Jackets.

I'm excited for the new season. Solely because it means hockey is back.

I'll get the first 'holy hell, we are awful' out of the way right now.

Game today is on Versus HD for anyone looking.

I'm also excited for this year and hope the new aggressive style will lead to more scoring and wins.
I'm interested to see if Filatov can finally deliver now that Hitch is gone and if Mason can return to form like he did near the end of last season and his rookie year.

I still would have liked another center in the offseason as I have no faith in Vermette. But, we'll see.
But, hockey is back and I love it.

Living close to the arena I'll probably try to go to a few games this year. I am not a TV hockey fan, but I enjoy going to games.

I'll be watching the game. Scott Arniel is a players coach which is great, and I expect Mason to have a bounce back year. Nash needs to step up and play like he's a 7.8mil a season player. Not this 60pts every year.

2-2. I certainly hope this isn't a sign of things to come for Mason though; we need him at Calder Trophy level. Both of those shots should have been stopped.

I still like the personnel that this team has. I think it could be a good year depending on which Mason shows up this year. Can't have silly stuff like the Dorsett penalty either.

McGinn lost an edge and Commodore gets a penalty for it. Kinda BS.

I agree with you on the "pissed off" thing. I used to go to 3-4 games per year, even though I am not a "fan". I just like going to hockey games. My problem is they have just sucked so fucking bad I don't want to spend the money just to go have a few beers and do something different. I got free tickets to a few games of OSU hockey last year from my banker and honestly, it was a lot more fun than expensive ass jackets games

Not to mention the 10 dollar beers

I'm excited. I have been a season ticket holder up until this year. I just can justify the cost anymore, because of the product on the ice... Oh and I have a daughter in college now.

I concur with the others. This season depends on Mason having a bounce back year. And Nash needs to be a ppg player. Mase has already let in a couple softies. Rut-row.
