Looking for some good ones to hit up this month. We have the Ghostly Manor here in Sandusky and they do a great job with that every year, but what are some other good ones around Ohio?
Anybody been to the old Mansfield Prison?

Haunted Hydro in Fremont. Honestly dont know if its still going on. I went back in HS, but that was almost 10 years ago.

I think the Hydro is still going.. We went to that one like 5 years ago and they were doing a bunch of remodeling/renovating... Haven't went back since.

Haunted Hoochie. It's the best one I've ever been to.

I want to go to the Haunted Hoochie just to see how it is. I've heard good things. Unfortunately wildcats is a giant vag and doesn't like to go to haunted attractions. Oh well...I am dragging him to at least one this year.

If the Haunted Hoochie is the best in Ohio....I'm glad that I don't go to them anymore. I went about 5 years ago (with a cast on my ankle) and wasn't scared/didn't run.
Mansfield Haunted Prison was a joke too. I spent most of my time opening up doors I wasn't supposed to and looking into rooms/snooping around.

Anything good in the Youngstown/Canton area?
Girlfriends' son went to the Seven Floors of Hell up at the Berea Fairgrounds this past weekend. He said it was pretty decent.
I wanted to take my girlfriends' kids to one this weekend but don't want to travel too far. Next weekend my nephew will be having their annual haunted forest so we'll be taking a trip out that way.

I don't know if it's any good but I hear about the Factory of Terror in Canton every day on the radio. They hold the Guinness record for largest haunted house on Earth.BR1986FB;510324 wrote:Anything good in the Youngstown/Canton area?

I went about 4 years ago and did the same thing. Luckily we paid some people to get our tickets for us so we didn't have to wait in a ridiculous line. It was interesting to see the inside of the prison but I would not recommend going there.

I actually have more fun at the local, hole-in-the-wall haunted houses/corn fields than I do at the big name/big cost ones. Production isn't quite as good....but I think that makes it more entertaining.

Those are the most fun. When I was a kid we had a haunted forest for about 10 years straight. Seems like the bigger ones are more about the gore and less about the scare. We tried to emphasize the scare (people jumping out from where you least expected it).

I am probably dating myself here, but I remember a "White Chapel" outside of Newark that was kindof a cool place to check out around Halloween. All kinds of rumors of it being a cult hangout, we got drunk one Halloween and went out there. It was creepy, this small white chapel in the middle of a field, but we didn't see anything out of the oridinary.

Haunted Hoochie/Dead Acres is still pretty good just the lines are horrendous. Cooper Stadium and another place downtown C-Bus is good I just can't remember the name of it. Its in an old warehouse right off Front St.

Anybody ever been to Hauntville in Elyria? Something like 3 haunted houses for like $15?
Back when we were all in high school we would go to actual places that were supposedly "haunted".. Places like Gore Orphanage and some abandoned factory in NW Ohio..
