Have fun with the gains in the Senate and House....you will be getting the same treatment that you have given us the past two year and in 2012 you will lose back because you won't get shit done

One, she was forcefully restrained, and i would have the exact same opinion if some Tea Party member ran up all crazy like to the President and he got forcefully restrained. My opinion has no bearing on the fact that she is a left winger, my opinion is based off the fact that she acted like an idiot approaching a public figure.

Do you mean that the left will punish it's enemies?
Gee, why does that sound like a left talking point? LOL

Are those on the left not "we the people," and therefore something else, maybe even, something "un-American?" Are only those on the right allowed to use that hallowed phrase. So confused. I always thought "we the people" was representative of all Americans, so i don't know how all Americans can be "over-ruled," as you say, by Americans. Oh well.

It has to do with the people vs. the ruling elites. You see, none of what was passed by the elites was wanted by the people. Not TARP, not corporate bailouts, not porkulus, not Cap-N-Tax, and certainly not ObamaKare as it is written. The elites have thumbed their noses at the people and now it's time to thumb them the F out. These a-holes that truly believe they know what is best for all Americans because of their blood-lust for power and authority over everyone, are going to feel the wrath of what they have wrought. Time's up ruling class. Time to pay your bill. Time to get the F out of town and never return.

But you're right...it only took 2 very short years for the Democrats to fall from grace in spectacular fashion after enjoying almost Super Majority status. WOW...what a bunch of inept, clueless buffoons. Seriously.

If the Repubs blow this sweet opportunity (an opportunity unbelievably handed to them on a silver platter by Obama-Reid-Pelosi) to redeem themselves, then I'm with you on firing this newest pack of corrupt liars and cheats two years from now...including your fraudulent Messiah currently occupying the White House.

WE THE PEOPLE
need to keep doing that until the corrupt liars and cheats get the message that we've all had enough...right Cbus? :p

By the way....for those of you out there who feel your vote doesn't matter since the politicians are beholden to the corporatists and special interest groups (and they are to be sure), next Tuesday should be proof-positive that our votes still matter. WE THE PEOPLE are still an important part of the greatest nation the world has ever known. VOTE

1.You do realize that the only people who have ever called him the "Messiah" are dumbass Republican commentators (Rush,Hannity,Beck,Savage,etc...)

2.What makes him fraudulent?? That he has done everything he said he was going to do??

3.When you mention corrupt liars and cheats, you also mean Republicans too right??

3.As for beating him, when he leaves office in 2016(yes,he will cruise to re-election),he will go down as the most accomplished President in US history, and there isn't shit you Republicans can do about it

You mean like the following???

End income tax for seniors making less than $50,000. Hasn't happened.

End federal no bid contracts above $25,000. Hasn't happened.

Allow imported prescription drugs. Hasn't happened.

Direct the Secretary of Health and Human Services to conduct a comprehensive study of federal cancer initiatives Hasn't happened.

Allow five days of public comment before signing bills. Yeah, right.

Tougher rules against revolving door for lobbyists and former officials. Hasn't happened.

Pay for the national service plan without increasing the deficit. Without increasing the national debt??? Oh, my.

Reduce earmarks to 1994 levels. Uh......no.

No family making less than $250,000 will see "any form of tax increase." Any form? Really?

Negotiate health care reform in public sessions televised on C-SPAN. Good Lord this one is just embarrassing.

Introduce a comprehensive immigration bill in the first year. Kind of overconfident on that one weren't you Mr. President.

There are more but the point is he hasn't done everything he said he was going to do.

It's fun to watch you closing in on complete meltdown mode as Tuesday gets closer. I think I'll start a pool to pick the exact time Tuesday night that your head explodes.

I'm thinking sooner than that. Even the leftist media will start conceding Republican victories as early as the 6:30 pm news.

But it doesn't bother me that much because

1.You guys won't be able to get anything done

2.President Obama will get re-elected in 2012

3.You guys will lose the house back in 2012

Do you really believe that say, Harry Reid, supported TARP, bailouts, healthcare bill, etc. Not because he really thought they were good things....but because he thinks he knows better than Americans and is blood thirsty for power and dominating over American sheeple???

Are you trying to tell us that Harry Reid is a man of the people? Really? The polling is clear...bailouts are a stinker, ObamaKare is heavily favored for repeal/rewriting, Cap-N-Tax is as dead as could be with the public, and although TARP is a Republican generated boondoggle, it is fully supported by the elites in DC, and most Americans are in favor of NOT SPENDING MORE MONEY. Get it yet? Stop digging when you are in a hole.

Come on now....you're smarter than to tell us that these are good things. We are facing financial armaggedon if we don't get a handle on our out-of-control spending, our growth-inhibiting confiscatory tax policies, and bailouts for every union under the sun. He, and his elitist allies...you know all the names...have propagated a fraud on the people, who are firmly against everything he represents. Or are you one of the deniers that doesn't see the Tea Party activists, the 600,000 that came out to a restoring honor rally, and shove your head in the sand? If you are...you are going to be completely freaking shocked in 6 days. This has always been a center-right country and is NOT ready for socialistic policies, wealth re-distribution, social justice, and government-provided health care for all. Just because the political messiah says we need these things does not make it so.

To answer your Q, yes, I believe the elites in Washington will do anything necessary to make Americans more reliant and dependent on the federal government for all needs...from light bulbs to what food to eat to Death Panels to decide when grandma has had a good life and her time is through. They are all on a power and control trip, to make us all dependent on whatever manna they can provide to the masses...for without them, we are all lost and too freaking stupid to decide what to do with our own lives. They know best for all of us. Sheeple? That's what Harry thinks we are all...stupid, dumb, ignorant sheep that couldn't live, breathe, or exist without his divine guidance. How in the hell can we ever live without him and his kind?

He isn't saying they're good things. But that the people who supported them likely thought that they were.

I do agree about the lightbulbs though. Tax breaks or discounts for the more efficient bulbs would be a better solution than mandating the extinction of incandescents.

"But for me, we'd be in a world-wide depression."

Ohhhh gawwwdddd!!!

Sorry BS, but Reid is an absolutely classic example of a DC politican reeking of elitism. Please, just stop trying to be a buffer.
Pretty please with sugar on top.

Thanks for the link Fish. I didn't catch the whole blurb the other day, and this explains what I heard better.

Too much trans-fat? Pay your fine. Unbelievable. What will stop the nanny-state elitists from deeper intrusions into our personal lives?

Had not heard about this....it's also wrong and disgusting and they should be put in jail. Also, that guy who got "choked" is a bitch

Also, that women did not harrass Paul. She was beaten for NO reason and you can't defend what happened to her. I do find it funny that you are all for it when a Liberal women gets beaten, but yet when a Liberal does something wrong, you stand right up ad are againist it. Double standard much??
