Hunter Mahan might beat him. I don't blame Hunter but he was taking it pretty hard.

I didn't think Henne played that bad. Two of those interceptions were not his fault and other than that he put up decent numbers.

the pick 6 wasn't his fault the other 2 definitely were. aside from the picks he makes about 1 horrible throw per drive, it's either a really bad read or a good read, wide open reciever and a duck that goes 20 yds past the WR or is 5 yds short. he's growing and i like the potential, but right now he's struggling and i'm afraid it's because there isn't a strong backup to push him.

Thigpens actually pretty good. Not sure you can blame a coach for all the mistakes that happened on ST yesterday.

I don't know the Dolphins' special teams history, but this firing seems a bit too harsh to me.

Wonder if he got a raise when Ginn took back the 2 kicks last year?

Maybe I'm mistaken, but didn't one of the Int's bounce right off of Hartline's chest? And a second was when Marshall cut his route short?

I didn't watch the whole game start to finish, but those two I remember, although now that I think back on it the Hartline one might have been dropped?

Seems like a knee jerk reaction, perhaps he was on the hot seat already.

they had 3 punts blocked in preseason, 1 blocked last week and 1 last night. in addition to the FG blocked and the KO return for TD. not to mention that brad smith averaged nearly 40 yds per KO return for the NYJ. something needed to be done on ST, whether it's the coach or the players is debatable, but the results warranted something be done.

also 2 of those picks (both by Ninkovich) were poorly thrown balls, neither of which were touched by a Miami WR. the other was a throw to Marshall that he gave up on and Chung picked it off and ran back for 6 pts.

Scape goat. The rest of the team wasn't prepared either.

i don't think so. the team isn't blaming this loss on the ST coach, the media is.

The fact is this, there have been rumors since preseason that Bonamego was on the hot seat. he was almost let go after the Jets game. I think that last night they said "enough is enough" and just pulled the trigger.

I don't agree that the rest of the team wasn't prepared. the defense looked pretty fucking good and before they had to go 1-dimensional the offense was performing as good as you can expect.
