And why is that? Because I don't agree with everything everyone on here says about OSU?? I haven't been on an OSU thread since the season started, except for a couple posts about the BTN's announcers.

I don't think ND will be successful at stopping the running game.

Or as accurate as my predictions for the other 4 games....check ND BC thread for all the info.

Is this your reasoning behind picking BC by 7? Notre Dame allowed 5 (five) yards rushing.

5 yards rushing against BC. Pitt running game is much greater than that of BC.

ND also got the lead so quickly that it forced BC to pretty much pass the the last 3 quarters of the game.

what now you're a homophobe and a DB? Nuthin wrong with being gay, quite a few of NDs biggest supporters (priests) are...not that there's anything wrong with that.

Its a toss up IMO. I'll go with ND in a close one because they are home.
I'd like Pitt's chances better if Bostick was starting.....is he?

Not sure on Bostick, haven't heard anything from the Stache. I was asking his reasoning for picking a BC team who was starting a true freshman QB for the first time. So no, no panties bunched and I don't see what you are talking about.Automatik;507824 wrote:Its a toss up IMO. I'll go with ND in a close one because they are home.

I don't get on here for a week, and it looks like I didn't miss a thing--why is OSU continually brought up in threads that have NOTHING TO DO with OSU? and why do the same people keep responding to these people who do bring them up??
anyway, I think ND is on the right track, and they'll win this game by two touchdowns...ND 28 Pitt 14

Just read through some of Wanny's press conference notes, it looks like it is going to be Sunseri.Automatik;507824 wrote:I'd like Pitt's chances better if Bostick was starting.....is he?

Cave and Stewart were both full go at practice today, Dever is still working his way back but should play Saturday. Manti Te'o was limited today due to flu like symptoms. It was also reported that Nick Tausch will now take care of the kick off and Ruffer will still kick FGs and PATs.
5th year senior Dan Wenger has officially been ruled out for the season after suffering multiple concussions during camp. He will stay on with the team as an student assistant coach and is expected to at least explore applying for a 6th year.

I would definitely give the edge to ND then. I don't know Wanny continues to stick by Sunseri. He needs to sit and learn. Pittsburgh media has stroked him all summer and camp long and he is not getting it done.
Bostick has done well in the past...give him another chance. Word on the street is that he is not very well liked by the coaching staff...rumor so who knows.

What's interesting is that Crist's rating is a 129.9 and Sunseri's is a 130.1. I think the difference is that Crist, when he's on is a 200 and when he's off he's an 80. Thankfully he's only been "off" when it's not quite a crucial moment in the game.
The Baldwin-Walls battle will be fun to watch.
I certainly hope Te'o pukes his guts out tonight so he's good to go for the game. Notre Dame needs him to gobble up the middle of the field. It is my opinion his superb play is what has allowed Calabrese to be the biggest surprise of the season.
Kona Schwenke is also expected to play at DE. He's the four-star recruit out of Hawai'i that came out of nowhere to commit. Overall I love what I hear from the freshmen, lots to be excited about.

There needs to be a rule, one of the teams needs to have a winning record in order to be a sticky.
As far as this game, ND should win because Pitt is garbage(really, almost everyone on their schedule is garbage), but I could see Pitt winning because ND is terrible.
6-6 bowl loss still stands.

ND's schedule is ranked #8 in the country. Where is OSU's at? #99.

The schedule Notre Dame has played to this point is ranked #7, where Ohio State's is ranked #51. Of course, Notre Dame's complete schedule is ranked #37 while Ohio State's is ranked #42, at this point in the season.

Sagarin's rankings say otherwise. Either way to say Notre Dame's schedule is filled with garbage is just ignorant trolling, but that is about par for the course with sleeper.

I don't care what Sagarin's ratings say. Massey's ratings are in the BCS formula too. And Sleeper is an idiot.

Notre Dame leads Pitt 17-3 in South Bend. Shades of 2008? I sure as hell hope not.

Solid first half by the Irish. Offense looked good except for the opening drive of the game. The sack on the first play is not how they wanted to start. Good job finding by the O getting in a rhythm after that. I really liked the tempo they played with although they had a couple plays where they might have been too fast for their own good. Defense doing a good job of bending and not breaking. Realistically it should be 17-9 but Pitt has had some issues in the kicking game. Need to come out and shut Pitt down on the opening drive and then take the ball down the field and score.
Happy 21st birthday to Dayne Crist too. I remember my 21st, I'd imagine his "4 Horsemen" shots will go down a little easier if they can hold on to the win.
