And I'm glad!

I couldn't eat another bite. I've done my fair share of tipping the bottle.
The relatives are gone, and the kitchen is cleaned up.

Now I can be lazy the rest of the evening!!!

Who's with me?

I've been hanging out for about 2 hours now. Not as many people at grandma's this year because of health issues and what not. But its been good.

A lot less people this year for our family too. Families get bigger some would rather have their own thanksgiving which is ok too.

Had our get together earlier today. I didn't eat anything and of course got lectured by Grandma. I had to explain to her that I work evenings and don't get to bed until 4 or 5 in the morning. Waking up at Noon to eat at 2pm was not happeneing. I told her that's my breakfast time...where are the Turkey scrambled eggs and Turkey bacon?

I'm sure I'll eat the leftovers later.

We had dinner around 12:30... Played some Apples to Apples while plastering our faces with alcohol.. Great times.

Now I'm recovering, about to do some shopping online for black Friday, then finding something to do later.

Thank god I get to miss the black Friday rush at my job this year. Past two BF's I had to come in at 3:45am... HATE IT.

We had some fun. Noone really stuffed themselves, so we had the room to get fiesty. Instead of a traditional football game, we held wrestling matches. We're a family that loves both football and wrestling. Highlight of the evening was my 13 yr old son taking his smack-talking stepmom to the floor for a pin. On the other hand, my own stepson(who is 23 and is strong as an ox) drilled my ass.

Ahhh, BF = Black Friday. Had me scared for a second LTrain. I took BF as Boy Friends...not that there is anything wrong with that. ;)

I really wasn't in the mood for turkey, dressing and stuff. So before dinner, I had a bonus jack combo from JITB. I did have some pie, cake, ham and macaroni and cheese though. I still think I ate too much today.

My side ate at noon. Then off to my wife's side. They ate at 5:00. Just got home and I am stuffed.

Got home a few hours ago. Been drinking since. Feeling fine. Good day and I'll have leftovers for the next decade or two.

We ate around 2 and I didn't even THINK about being hungry until about a 1/2 hour ago. It was a good day with family. The worst part was watching my 16 year old wrestler son eat nothing but a decent sized salad with a few shreds of turkey in it. I know it's his love and his dream, but to see my bottom less pit eater eat a salad on Thanksgiving was hard for me to take.

Well, I guess now that all the Thanksgivings have been held, we can all get down to the next celebration preparations. I should be able to have all the Easter decorations up before noon.

^ haha...

I really dislike holidays sometimes because people blow them out or proportion and make that one f'ing day last 3-4 months.

I'm not bitter or anything.... ;)
