Justin I'm not trying to hold a gun to your head or anything man, it's just absurd that this guy continues to take the "Your mom" shot at me. He knows exactly what he's doing with that. He's replied to my PMs, always ends them with "Go MOM!". He does the same thing when quoting my posts. Kid has no respect and he does nothing but bring this site down.

I think we all are understanding that such a plan is just not possible. While it still can stay pretty relaxed and extremely difficult to do something bannable, the retardation of some of out worst posters are really starting to infect the whole site.

Like I mentioned in the CFB thread over here last week, people had their chance, and it's basically "this is why we can't have nice things" now. At least, that is my opinion.

As for the Society deal -- easy solution: making a "mom" reference to TB, who it's common knowledge had his mother murdered, is an unwarranted personal attack...no question about it. So, he gets infractions for any shit like that. And if there are other posters who he's singling out for asshole comments (Bigdaddy w/fat slams and Websurfingbird w/jew comments are two that have come to mind over the near-11 months we've been around), he can get infractions for insulting them. And if he has a problem...well, HE has a problem.

I understand why it's sensitive issue for you. But I don't believe you're completely innocent in this tiff. If I have a little "rivalry" with a poster, I don't make it a point to instigate a fight with the person. There's a few who I generally don't get along with, the normal trolls then also rydawg5. I never invoke their name first to get them posting.

But then I see a thread like the side boob thread, and you're the one who takes the first shot on that, bringing up his name and saying he likes the cock without him even posting on the thread. As moderators we can't be the ones baiting the posters. Let them hang themselves... don't try to bring them out.

As moderators, we have to be a little more aloof as far as getting into pointless squabbles with posters and being the one instigating or furthering the fight. We have to say our piece of mind a couple of times then bow out in a thread and not go at it ad nauseam. We have to refrain from calling out the trolls to instigate a fight in a thread. It's one thing to respond to these guys and treat them like the ass that they are when they already have shown it in a thread... it's another to draw it out waaaay too long and bring it up in other threads.

Yeah, we definitely need to stay out of the name calling and pissing matches with the trolls, although I am guilty of baiting with some spoof threads.

It's also extremely over the top for society to go strait to mom jokes instead of just making a gay joke towards trueblue. It's also going to be damn near impossible to get rid of society. A perma-ban will just bring him back under a new name. Blocking his IP will just bring him back on a proxy.
