Pretty hilarious lineup

Via John Fay:
Bloomquist 9, Valaika 4, Alonso 3, Francisco 5, Heisey 8, Nix 7, Janish 6, Miller 2, Cueto 1.

I still think these games are extremely important in trying to avoid Philly in the NLDS. So we need a win from these guys.

I say Bloomquist, Valaika and janish have good offensive games.

Need big boys ready to PH at just about every big moment of the game if the game is in reach.

And from that spot he failed on the most important plate appearance of the game for the Reds so far, popping up with the tying run on 3rd with 1 out. If Bruce is in right field the Astros are still looking for their first run.

Valaika with a great play earlier to save a run, now he gives one up on the recent play.

Earlier Valaika made one of the best plays I've seen at 2nd this year.....then was confused on the recent play.

I really question how intelligent Yonder Alonso is. That attempted play was just silly. Crap a player who may be fiarly creative might do if he didn't have any idea how the game is played. That attempt was like a rebounder outletting the ball behind his back for no reason whatsoever to the PG.

Anyone not smile when the crowd went crazy for Bruce being announced to hit?

Bruce's HR could propel him into Chris Sabo status among Reds fans.

I didn't smile because I hate Bruce, winning, and the Reds in general.

I hope the walk-off NL Central clincher hasn't gone to Bruce's head now making his plate approach all messed up!

Would Bloomquist have caught that ball in RCF that Bruce just handled very well?

Bruce will be fine...he may suck for a little bit...but as soon as he drills a couple of off speed pitches he'll be a boomin again.

Costly, costly loss for the Reds chances to avoid the Phils!
