Six, actually, and it used to be five.

In the very beginning didn't they actually have to agree to how many points a score was worth before the game? A touchdown could have been worth 5 points one week and 4 the next?

LOL
Just wait til November, you're coming to the Shoe remember? Hopefully you guys can give us a game because I have tickets and after the past couple bore fests(read: BLOWOUTS) that we've given you guys, I'd rather not be leaving at half time.

Possible. I had an old record book from my high school that went back to the 1890's, and noticed that the scores there were often in multiples of 5.

It's clear that Tressel only wanted to win by 11, and what Tressel wants, Tressel gets.

How many National Titles does Michigan claim before 1910?
Before 1910 Touchdowns were worth 4 points, Field Goals were worth 5 points and Extra Point Kicks were worth 2 points.
It was MUCH more important to have an outstanding drop kicker than it was to have a good QB or runner.
Before 1951 guards, tackles and the center were legal receivers of a forward pass.

Before 1980, it was legal to purposely "fumble" the ball out of bounds to stop the clock.
What is your point?

Huh?
That was supposed to say "six outs for an inning."
