Will the Steelers go 4-0 without Big Ben?

I see no reason why they can't win this one, based on how the teams have looked, but it will be a tough one.

Ravens offense will pick up the blitz more than they should and they'll convert too many 3rd downs along with Pittsburgh not doing it offensively....and mix in a couple stupid breaks and Baltimore will crap into a win.

4 weeks ago I figured this as an automatic loss for Pittsburgh. Not so sure now. This game will be won by a field goal. Gotta go with the home team.
Steelers-13
Ravens- 10

I can agree with that bolded text. I think the Steelers have a shot against them now.

This is going to come down to what every other Ravens vs Steelers game. Which defense makes the big play?

Baltimore's secondary is suspect this year but seeing how the browns ran all over them makes me wonder if the whole defense is past its prime?

The D isn't past it's prime. Hillis is a beast and I would guess he will run over a fair amount of teams.

This game should be a close one.

Should be another slug fest. I love when these two teams meet up.

As said earlier....I was counting this as a for sure loss....not sure now. Regardless...I won't be upset if Pittsburgh loses. I just want to see a competitive, injury-free game.

Pittsburgh
Kansas City
Green Bay or Chicago

unless they tie

Flacco has thrown his fair share of INTS this season against some weak defenses. What will the Steelers dial up?

I agree with you on Hillis being a beast. I was Just trying to keep the conversation going.

That's still a lot of yards to give up on the ground for a top run defense.

But I think it was just a one game thing, rather than being some kind of hole in the defense that the Browns discovered.

He broke a couple of long ones and that can happen to any defense.

My concern is that I don't think the Steelers will run the ball that well and then Batch will have more pressure on him than this week.

He may not throw any picks. He may have finally found his confidence. I would be willing to guess he throws 1 pick though.

What's Ray Rices status for the game? I heard that he hurt his knee.

Chris Hoke got hurt and is out for a couple weeks, at least.

I remember somebody was on the ground before the two-minute warning and they never said who it was when they came back.

Toss up...I'll give it to the Ravens for the sheer fact that Charlie Batch will be back for this one. Ravens D ain't the Bucs

Is that the same D that just gave up 17 to the mighty Clowns?
BTW. I'll take Batch over Wallace any day.

They said Rice has a contusion on his knee. Harbaugh said he would monitor how he heals throughout the week before making the decision on whether he plays or not.

I think he meant that Cleveland was able to put 17 on the Ravens and while Batch is no elite QB he's better than Wallace. What he was saying is that if the Ravens D is only as good as the Cleveland game shows then they're going to have some real problems.
