Yes, obviously if the Raven's D plays against Pittsburgh like they did against Cleveland they could be in trouble but I highly doubt they do.

I look for the Ravens to annihilate Pittsburgh this week.

I don't believe either team will be annihilated but I guess that is why they play the games.

Should be a dog fight, decided in the fourth quarter. Batch will not light up the Batlimore Defense. To me this game is a coin flip. Defense will decide who wins this one.

Yeah I don't think this will be one of those games where many expect it to be low scoring and then surprisingly it's not.

It will be.

The Ravens gave up a lot of rushing yards last week but good run defenses usually bounce back after a bad outing. I don't see the Steelers having huge success on the ground. And then Batch in a one-dimensional offense will have a much tougher time than he had against the Bucs.

I only see about 13-16 offensive points max by the Steelers, but if they can get a defensive score that would help

Ravens will need a pretty strong offensive performance to get more than 20.

so i'm thinking like 17-16

I'll stay with my original prediction. A late field goal wins it.
Steelers-16
Ravens-13
Should be a hellava game as usual.

I just wish Baltimore had a defensive player in the secondary who looked for the interception. That is an element they miss while Reed is out. I really can't even make a prediction for this game. I just can't wait to watch it. I would guess that Billy Cundiff and Jeff Reed get a lot of work.

Mike Tomlin mentioned in his press conference that the Steelers will likely have more time off during their bye week if they perform well and win on Sunday.

Might not mean much but I'm sure it's little extra incentive for the players.

Ravens terminated the contract of Trevor Pryce. I'm not sure if it was the best week to do that unless Terrence Cody is finally able to play then I would say bye to Pryce.

It's hard for me to fathom that there will be that much offense in this game. I'm thinking more likely 12 or 15 to 9 or 10.

This game will be awesome no matter who you root for.

Batch goes down as GOAT 4th string QB if he plays well and wins it. :)

I totally agree and Flacco has struggled against Pittsburgh. IMO, Flacco is overrated.

Flacco's main problem is that he sometimes looks timid in the pocket and acts like he is frozen in place. He can make the big throws but definitely needs to work on his scrambling and pocket awareness.

Oh and just because he threw 4 picks against Cincy doesn't necessarily mean he will throw any this weekend. I would put money down that he throws one for sure though.

Wow the Ravens let Trevor Pryce go for a few days to sign someone else for a game and Pryce decides not to come back to the Ravens. He signed with the Jets. Damn.

I think it comes down to who wins the turnover battle. Team with less wins.

16-13 Steelers, the lesser of two evils.

Ray Rice is the only player to rush for more than 100 yards against the Steelers in the past 38 games.

Even for their defense, he's a tough guy to tackle and he's good as a runner and receiver.

I know a lot of times the injury news isn't all that important, but in this case I think he's going to be pivotal to this game.

Yes, Rice being semi-injured will end up being some kind of problem for the Ravens but I think McGahee will come in and run hard if needed.

The Steelers D will need to gameplan just as if Rice is at 100%. Expect no let down.

I'm heading down to this one. Third year in a row attending a Steelers vs. Ravens games. AFC title game, last year's game after Christmas and now this one.

Unfortunately I think we're due for a loss.

I'm not expecting the Steelers to be able to run the ball and they're going to be too one dimensional this week. And the Ravens need the game more at this point.

Ravens 13
Steelers 9

Steelers defense has to cause more crap then the Ravens defense!

Polamalu, Harrison, Woodley....go do it! Interceptions, forced fumbles, sacks, recovered fumbles......oh my!
