Don't mess it up either. Trade up if you have to, but just put 1 man on your draft board in the 1st round. "Get Ryan Mallet"
You can take the credit for being smart after you get him.

Lets hope not. I like Mallett's game...I'd like to see him succeed in the NFL. There will be no chance of that in Cleveland.

This is actually the ohiochatter website, not the browns organization...Get kolb, use our draft picks on defense and getting a number 1 receiver

Did you get this from my faceblook status? I've been saying this for a couple years now and it still seems not everyone is sold on him. Dude is the best QB in college football, and it's really not even close.

Luck is good, but personally, I prefer Mallett. I do think Luck might be the smarter of the two, but Mallett might be more talented physically.SportsAndLady;496912 wrote:Andrew Luck
We'll see what he's made of right now. The Alabama defensive line will be in his face now.

An Alabama int. ................ Back to the drawing board, Mallet's not the answer, ....... no wait go ahead , the Bengals, Steelers, and Ravens need some more ints

Major choke job by Mallet at the end of the game....has the tools, but not sure about the mental aspect.

I haven't really seen either enough to decide who is better, but if the Browns do end up getting the first pick, I think they have to go QB. I'd probably be happy with either of them to be honest.
Also, anyone else watched NC State's QB, Russell Wilson? I watched him against Cincy and Georgia Tech and he looked pretty good. Not saying the Browns should draft him or anything, but I wonder if he has a future in the NFL. He's small for a QB, but he seems to make good decisions and has put up some good numbers so far this year.

I'm basing my pick of the mechanics and his size and his total package.. Not his success at the collegiate level. If you want a great College Quarterback, we should start Colt McCoy.

QB has to be the hardest position to draft but I wouldn't take Mallett personally.

Jamarcus Russell had all the mechanics and tools that you need too. But if you are not making good decisions...none of that matters. I really think you have to be a cerebral qb at the next level.

LOL no way.. jarmarcus had no where near the accuracy.. i hated him lol but he was loved by scouts.. so yeah, i fear mallet could be like a Ryan Leaf.. you never know I guess.

yeah...Jamarcus wasn't nearly as accurate. I guess my point is that the media and scouts all fall in love with these certain guys because they are 6'6" and can throw the ball 75 yards. Jamarcus was a bust from day one, because he was not a good qb...never was.

Derek Anderson is a tall QB with a strong arm too. Just saying....

He is obviously much more than that. He is very accurate, has amaizng mechanics. The only negative is the folding under pressure, but that happens sometimes when you are playing the best team in the nation.like_that;497224 wrote:Derek Anderson is a tall QB with a strong arm too. Just saying....
