Well, the Tribe snapped a losing streak last night to pull within a half game of escaping the basement. I just learned that if we finish last, it will be the first time in club history that we have back to back years of last place finishes. Pretty awesome. Does anybody still care? Ha ha!

I was there last night to witness the victory! Tickets were dirt cheap, and I was drunk before I arrived, but I was there... maybe I'm good luck.

Avoiding the basement ensures championship next year. If we cant avoid it, no better than .500 ball.

I was worried Tomlin was going to get yanked when he gave up the HR with 2 outs in the 9th, but Manny let him finish, thank god.

Shapiro has depleted this team so badly, there are only about 4 or 5 players anyone else would want. How many retread rejects are on this team, and even starting!

I gotta tell you guys, when the commercial break was over for the top of the 2nd, the first words I heard were: 'and Peralta lines a single". I caught myself saying, "All Right!". Then reality hit.

As the Kittys are unlikely to pick up Jhonny's $7 million option next year, JP is likely to be on the free agent market. That means the Tribe could pick Peralta back up for a mere fraction of that option price.
