I'm probably most curious about Miami. How impressive was the Buckeye win? I also want to see how Mallet does against the Bama defense.

I'm pretty pumped to watch them all, but right now the Miami/Pitt closely followed by Auburn/South Carolina. Both games are good tests to see how legitimate both South Carolina & Miami are this year....

2) Which game will be the best?
South Carolina/Auburn

3) Which one will not be close (if any)?
LSU/WVU

4) Is there another game (Oklahoma @ UC?) you are lookin more forward to?
I'm also looking forward to Arizona/Cal, curious to see Arizona can keep playing well after the emotional victory over Iowa...

Obviously I'm excited for Kentucky going to the swamp. It's the best chance UK has against UF in the last 5 years. It's usually every 3-4 years the Cats have a chance. In 2003, UK had UF beat in Lexington, up 21-9 in the 3rd quarter only to blow it and lose 24-21. In 2007, the Cats had their best offensive team in a long time and did stay with UF the entire game before losing 45-37. It's 2010, and the game is in Gainesville, but this one I think could be a decent game.

Kentucky has three quite impressive (or not so much) streaks on the line this year.

23 straight losses to Florida (last win, 1986)
25 straight losses to Tennessee (last win, 1984)
17 straight losses to Steve Spurrier (11 to Florida, 6 to South Carolina, never defeated him)

Can any of them be snapped this year?

I'm surprised that Kentucky hasn't beaten South Carolina in the past 6 years. I agree Kentucky has a very good chance against Florida this weekend. That streak has to come to an end at some point.

I'm looking forward to the Bama-Hogs game. Too bad ND-Stanford is on at the same time, because I'd like to see that one too. NBC should think about moving the ND games to noon, because there always seems to be a better game on at 3:30.

Not gonna happen. The ND/Michigan game this year was one of the highest rated games since NBC started carrying Notre Dame games. This game was opposite OSU/Miami and Florida State/Oklahoma. Moving games to noon would mean a 9 am start on the west coast, not exactly prime time for a nationally broadcast sporting event.

You would think the ratings would have been even higher had they not gone up against two big time games, which seems to always be the case at 3:30. I agree it's not great for the west coast, but seems like you would alienate a lot more people in the eastern time zone which is the majority of college football viewers. just my opinion.

It was still 2 unranked teams against games featuring 2 top 15ish teams. I'd think NBC has done a little research on the best time for them to air games.

Ok? I don't think NBC is going to change their schedule to cater to you.

That's pretty obvious. They don't mind having lower ratings than ABC and CBS.

4) Is there another game (Oklahoma @ UC?) you are lookin more forward to? Arkansas v. Bama is the game of the week in my mind, but looking forward to seeing how ND and Cincinnati can hold up against tough teams.

No question the Ark vs Bama game is going to be interesting. Mallett getting quite a bit of hype obviously. But if you look at his career..he has yet to have a big game vs a big time opponent. So this game is key for him , as well as it is for Ark. We really don't know how good they are yet to be honest. They return quite a bit, but like Mallett, haven't beaten anyone worth bragging about in a LONG while. All tough teams they played against last year, ended in a loss. They haven't had a signature win. And please dont' tell me it was Georgia last week. That is a 4/5 loss Georgia team this year.
