I think he's going to be a very good WR for this team for a long time. Reach or not, drafting a WR in the 2nd round that will be a solid #2 WR for a long time is a good pick.

Grouping him with Veikune and Robiskie isn't fair, imo.

Yeah, and don't forget Kordell Stewart. There were some lean years, quarterback-wise between Bradshaw & Roethlisberger but, of course, Capone doesn't remember those years. Both franchises have had their down periods.

They need it, the backing off. It's only going to be repeated year after year.

Not where he was selected. He probably could have been taken as low as where we took Veikune. Could have used his or Robiskie's spot to grab Loadholt and we wouldn't be dealing with the human turnstile, John St Clair, at RT.

uhhh. I can remember Stewart taking them to at least 2 AFC championship games. We've been to so many I kind of lost count. FAIL again BR.

i actually liked kordell and thought a lot of the problems we had werent his fault. and we were competitive almost going to the superbowl......and we were one of the worst teams in the league for 25 years before we started winning in the 70's

The statement that i am making is that the NFL is setup to reward the lower class teams to keep the league equal (salary cap, higher draft picks, easier schedules). For the Clowns to be so bad for so long is laughable. Hell, even the Lions look more promising than you guys.

Go Holmgren Go!!!!

Even though Capone is a moron, he actually brings up an interesting point. How at this point in their return to Cleveland they can have so little promise is beyond me. Hell, the best thing the Browns have going is some guy who sits up in his office all day.

Part of the drought was during the Super Bowl era dumbass. What do you consider the Super Bowl era? Only the seasons where the steelers make the playoffs? You probably don't even know when the Super Bowl era began.

He said "into" the superbowl era. What means is that their historically bad drought (longest in the history of the NFL lolfail) lasted through the SB era. Nice FAIL dumbass.

Browns starters:
QB - Delhomme - one of the worst 3 QB's in NFL
RB - Harrison - average at best NFL RB
WR - You have a #2 as your #1, and a #3 as your #2
TE - Ben Watson. Garbage.
Left side of offensive line - as good as any in football
Right side of offensive line- as bad as any in football

Defensive line - average?
Linebackers - Who?
Secondary - solid

What about that roster is supposed to be promising for a team that has been in rebuild mode since returning to Cleveland?

Good point. What is there, probably 1 or 2 players that could start for Pittsburgh.
